Joey Janela has offered a comment of sorts via Twitter following a reported incident that occurred between himself and Big Cass at a WrestlePro event on Saturday night.
Cass was booked as an unannounced surprise entrant to fight in a battle royal at the show, which was set up as a farewell for Pat Buck. The latter has signed a deal to become a producer with WWE and was set to wrestle his last match with WrestlePro.
According to PW Insider, the former WWE performer would mar proceedings after his property went missing and confronted Janela. Cass approached several persons backstage in search of his stuff but his confrontation with Janela is believed to have stemmed from the AEW star's altercation with Enzo some months ago.
A source said Cass slapped Janela but that hasn't been confirmed. What's weird is that both wrestlers had been in the same locker room on Friday night for Northeast Wrestling and there were no issues between them.
The situation was diffused by WrestlePro's Kevin Matthews, but only for a moment. Cass is said to have confronted Janela again, which led to Janela being moved to another room to call the match he was set to have with Dan Maff without distraction.
Cass reportedly threatened the entire locker room over a sweater he accused them of stealing before spitting in Buck's face. Buck, who was sitting at the time, was asked "What are you going to do, tough guy?" before Cass proceeded to launch a spitball at his face.
The report claims that Buck took Cass down with a punch and the latter immediately went from being aggressive to asking what was going on. Police officers who were already at the event then removed Cass but he was never placed under arrest, contrary to some of the initial reports.
Janela has tweeted that he doesn't wish to elaborate but hopes Cass can pick himself up after yet another strange and erratic episode.
"Not gonna elaborate at all on this whole deal besides that it was probably the bizzare situation I’ve ever seen let alone been a part of in a wrestling locker room in 15 years," he wrote, "everything was cordial and friendly Friday and I hope the dude gets back on the right track..."

What The Heck Is Going On With Big Cass?
Cass has previously admitted to being in a very dark place whilst with WWE but claimed that was behind him. That he's prone to snapping that quickly is quite worrying but Janela is being a real gentleman over the whole thing, which is great.
This does appear to go much deeper than plain anger, and it doesn't sound like Cass was fully in control of his actions during the incident. We at TheSportster would also like to offer our support and are wishing him the very best.
