After nearly a year of speculation that they'd go toe-to-toe , John Cena finally challenged The Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania 34 - telling The Deadman to have "one more match".

The Deadman did not come out to formally accept the challenge, but one can expect an answer in the coming weeks. But for now, Cena's challenge is a major sign that he will, in fact, face Undertaker at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

There were conflicting reports over the past several months regarding a potential match at WrestleMania. Several weeks ago, Cena appeared on Raw and teased a possible bout with 'Taker, then said a match wasn't possible and that he couldn't make it to happen.

But assuming Undertaker accepts the match offer, WrestleMania 34 could see one of the most iconic matches in recent memory take place. It could also mean that Roman Reigns did not "retire" The Deadman after beating him at WrestleMania 33.

Should a match take place, it'll feature two of the biggest names in professional wrestling history. Cena and Undertaker are perhaps the two greatest WWE superstars of the 21st century. Both have stayed loyal to the company, and each member has one multiple championsips while headlining various pay-per-views.

Given Undertaker's age (53 this month), and his injury history (he recently required hip surgery), it's expected that he'll retire after he wrestles "one more match". There is no better opponent than Cena - a 16-time World Champion who has carried the torch of the WWE's main face for over a decade.

WrestleMania 34 is less than four weeks away, so we can expect Undertaker to announce his decision on Cena's challenge before long. But at this point, it would be shocking if we didn't see these two legends face off on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
