Cena is known as being a dominant wrestler, which is never more evident than when he is champion. He has had many title reigns that have been incredibly long and impressive. But, with all the titles that he has won, he has also lost titles shockingly fast, leaving fans aghast at how short his reign was.

10 Shortest: World Tag Team Championship - 6 Days (2008)

John Cena's track record as a Tag Team Champion is not good at all, as will be evidently noticeable as this list goes on. The first example of this is his second reign with the World Tag Team Titles which lasted just 6 days.

Before they faced each other at SummerSlam 2008, Cena and Batista were put into a World Tag Team Championship match against Cody Rhodes and Ted Debiase on the August 4th, 2008 episode of Raw. Cena and Batista ended up winning the match, but after only 6 days, they lost their titles when their partnership imploded in a rematch against Rhodes and Debiase.

9 Longest: WWE Championship - 132 Days (2006)

While his track record of being a Tag Team Champion isn't good, John Cena is one of the greatest world champions of all time and has held the WWE Title for many lengthy reigns.

Cena won his second WWE Title at Royal Rumble 2006 from Edge, just 3 weeks after Edge cashed in his Money In The Bank contract to take the title from Cena. Cena went on to hold the title for 132 days, retaining it against Triple H in a great match at WrestleMania 22, before losing it to Rob Van Dam in a hectic match at ECW One Night Stand 2006.

Cena first won the US Title against longtime rival Booker T by winning the deciding match of their best of 5 series at No Mercy 2004. Cena would then be made to put the title on the line against the debuting Carlito, in a match which he lost, on the October 4th, 2007 episode of SmackDown.

After winning the 2013 Royal Rumble match, John Cena chose to challenge The Rock at WrestleMania 29 for the WWE Championship. Cena then went on to defeat The Great One and hold the title for 132 days.

Over the course of his reign, Cena defended the title in a couple of brutal matches against Ryback at Extreme Rules 2013 and Payback 2013 and then against Mark Henry in a great match at Money In The Bank 2013. His reign came to an end when he lost the title to Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam 2013, with Triple H as the special guest referee.

6 Shortest: WWE Tag Team Championship - 1 Day (2010)

In 2010, John Cena was inserted into a months-long rivalry against The Nexus, at one point having to join them after losing to Wade Barrett at Hell In A Cell 2010. This led to Cena being ordered to team with David Otunga to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Titles.

Cena and Otunga ended up winning the Tag Team Titles at Bragging Rights 2010. But, their reign was quickly ended after 1 day when Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel won the titles after Otunga was ordered by Barrett to allow Slater to pin him.

During this reign, Cena immediately started to implement his now-infamous US Title Open Challenges, which provided some of the greatest United States Title matches of all time. He held the title all the way until SummerSlam 2015 when he lost it to Seth Rollins in a blockbuster match.

4 Shortest: WWE Tag Team Championship - 9 Minutes (2011)

On the February 21st, 2011 episode of Raw, John Cena was once again forced to team with a rival to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Cena teamed with his WrestleMania 27 opponent The Miz and won the titles from Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater. But their reign was short-lived.

Immediately after the match Slater and Gabriel invoked their rematch clauses and with help of The Miz, they won their titles back. That ended Cena and The Miz's reign at only 9 minutes which is the shortest Tag Team Title reign in WWE history.

Cena won the WWE Title from JBL at WrestleMania 21 and held it for 279 days. At Elimination Chamber 2010, John Cena defeated Randy Orton, Ted Debiase, Triple H, Kofi Kingston, and Sheamus in a grueling Elimination Chamber match to win his sixth WWE Title. But the celebration was short-lived before Vince McMahon's music hit.

McMahon announced that Cena would have to face one more man before he could walk into WrestleMania as champion - Batista. Batista went on to easily put Cena away, hitting Cena with a Batista Bomb to pin him and end his reign in just 3 minutes and 33 seconds.

1 Longest: WWE Championship - 380 Days (2006 - 2007)

John Cena has had many memorable and impressive title reigns, but no others compare to Cena's 380-day reign with the WWE Title. Cena initially won the title from Edge in their historic TLC Match at Unforgiven 2006.

For over a year, Cena was the most dominant star in WWE, defeating everyone in his path. Over the course of his reign, the likes of Edge, Shawn Michaels, Umaga, Randy Orton, and many others weren't able to take the title off of him. In fact, the only thing that could was his own body, when he had to vacate the title when he suffered a torn right pectoral tendon.
