John Morrison, Johnny Nitro, Johnny Mundo. He is the man with almost too many names to keep track of. The one thing you should make sure you don't forget when it comes to Morrison though is how talented a wrestler he is. The former WWE Tag Team Champion has wrestled all over the world and has managed to leave a mark wherever he has gone.
For a large chunk of his career Morrison was a WWE Superstar and actually enjoyed a lot more success than most fans probably remember. From his pairing with The Miz to his time with the ECW World Championship, Morrison had bags of talent and if he had stayed with WWE beyond the end of 2011 he would have likely been a WWE Champion by now.
Morrison doesn't seem to be one of those former WWE Superstars who holds any ill will towards his former employers. Chris Van Vliet interviewed the Impact Wrestling star recently and asked him what he would like to do if he were to return to WWE today. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins were two names at the top of his list of dream opponents, but he also said he would love to work with The Miz again. 'Unfinished business with The Miz. It'd be fun to get back in there and maybe do some Dirt Sheet episodes with him', Morrison told Vliet, also revealing that he would love to form a faction with The Awesome One, Zack Ryder and Dolph Ziggler.
It may seem overcrowded on WWE's main roster right now but it's hard to argue that the addition of Morrison to either Raw or SmackDown Live wouldn't be a good idea. Even the thought of him having a run in NXT is an appealing one. An extended rivalry with Velveteen Dream springs to mind when thinking of feuds with Morrison that would have fans glued to their screens.
For the time being however Morrison has no plans to return to WWE and it would honestly be a surprise to find out that he is even on their radar. As talented as he is Morrison has an awful lot going on right now when it comes to other promotions and outside projects and likely doesn't even have the time to be a WWE Superstar at the moment.
