Jason Jordan has received a controversial push as the storyline son of Raw general manager, Kurt Angle. He's also one-half of the Raw Tag Team Champions, alongside Seth Rollins - replacing the injured Dean Ambrose as The Architect's partner.

Despite portraying a babyface character, Jordan has been booed and rejected by the audience - receiving the Roman Reigns-like treatment. But there is good news for fans who are bored of the Jason Jordan project.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio (subscription required), is speculating that The Bar will soon recapture the Tag Team championships following a rift between Jordan and Rollins. Per Meltzer, this could set up a match between Jordan and The Architect at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans.

After spending five years developing in NXT, Jordan made his main event roster debut on the July 17 episode of Monday Night Raw, being introduced as aforementioned storyline son of Angle. But despite strong in-ring abilities, Jordan's lack of microphone skills and questionable gimmick as Angle's son have held him back from getting over with the crowd.

Ambrose -the previous tag team partner of Rollins - suffered a gruesome triceps tear in December, and was ruled out of action for nine months. Not long after, Jordan became the unofficial third member of The Shield, and won the Raw Tag Team championships with Rollins on the Christmas edition of Raw.

Given his poor reactions from the crowd, a heel turn and character change may be the best for Jordan. He's one of the top young stars on the roster, but the current partnership with Rollins isn't working. We'll see how this rumored match between the Tag Team Champions develops over the next couple of months.
