WWE superstar Kane appeared on yesterday's edition of Monday Night Raw, and rumor has it that this could be a way to bring back Undertaker. This was Kane's first appearance on television in over 10 months. He interfered during Roman Reigns' Steel Cage match vs. Braun Strowman. The Big Red Machine helped the latter win after executing a series of chokeslams on Reigns and aligned with The Miz's team against The Shield at TLC this weekend.

Kane's appearance surprised many, but the reasoning behind his return could be something monumental.

According to Andrew Ravens from eWrestlingNews.com, there's speculation that Kane's return may be a plot to avenge Reigns' defeat of The Undertaker at WrestleMania. It's also being speculated that this could set up an Undertaker and Kane tag team match against The Shield at Survivor Series.

This is big news, as many assumed that Undertaker would stay retired following his loss to Reigns on the Grandest Stage of Them All. 'Taker left his attire in the middle of the ring, embraced his wife (Michelle McCool), and left to a major ovation from the crowd.

Given his age (52), and his breaking body (he needed hip replacement surgery), there was perfect reason to believe it was the end of Undertaker's career. But it's been reported for about a month now that The Deadman resumed training and could be ready to return to the ring yet again.

With one of the most decorated resumes in WWE history, many felt that Undertaker didn't receive the right send-off. Given Reigns' failure to get over with the crowd, having him beat The Deadman at 'Mania (where The Undertaker managed a 21-0 streak), didn't sit well with many.

But The Undertaker has always been one to show up out of nowhere when you least expect it. So if there is truth to the speculation about his return, don't be surprised next time the lights go out and his music starts playing.
