Four days after news broke of multiple releases from WWE, news of other stars and employees who were let go continues to filter through.

Due to the financial strain being put on pretty much everyone right now, WWE made some serious cuts to its roster this past week. By the time Wednesday had come to a close, more than 30 people had been let go by the company. What's worse is that in the days following on from that, even more names have emerged and the list has gotten longer.

Most of the names to have been added to the list since Wednesday are from NXT. There have also been reports that those released from NXT contracts are only bound to a 30-day non-compete clause. On the one hand, that's a good thing since it means being able to work elsewhere sooner. On the others, that's only 30 more days of pay before the WWE well dries up for them.

As reported by WhatCulture today (Sunday) another seven more NXT Superstars have been added to the list of released and furloughed employees. Most of the additions will be stars fans aren't familiar with as they either appeared on NXT TV infrequently or not at all. Mohamed Abdelfattah (or Mohamed Fahim), Faisal Kurdi, Hussain Aldagal, Marcos Gomes, Edgar Lopez, Yifeng (known as Rocky in NXT) have all been let go.

The seventh star added to the list is one most reading this will know. Kassius Ohno. There have been rumors since Wednesday that Ohno was among those released due to the fact he was added to the alumni section on WWE.com. However, neither Ohno nor WWE confirmed the news. It would appear that despite a continued lack of confirmation, Ohno has indeed been released from NXT for the second time in his career.

Ohno has been working as a trainer more than a talent during his latest stint with the company, making semi-regular appearances in NXT UK. Sadly, that will be the case no longer. Ohno has been in the business for 20 years, wrestling on the independent circuit as Chris Hero for the bulk of that time. If AEW is going to pick up any of these releases, they would do well to make Ohno, or Hero, one of them.
