The former Bullet Club leader is now focused on a new chapter of his life with AEW, as he looks to put some more incredible matches with the likes of Jon Moxley and MJF. He's working as one of the headline names in AEW's bid to go against WWE. With a vast collection of incredible matches behind him, Omega has wrestled some amazing battles. Let's rank his 10 greatest to date.

10 Kenny Omega vs KUSHIDA (WrestleKingdom 10)

Around the time when Kenny Omega was really starting to blow up in a mainstream way, he put on an incredible match against KUSHIDA for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship at WrestleKingdom 10.

Most people remember that time period for Omega's decision to attack A.J. Styles and take over Bullet Club (which he did the following night), but that doesn't mean that this match should be overlooked. It was superb. With Omega hitting a moonsault off a guardrail while holding a trashcan in his hands, the match was full of GIF-fable moments and highlights that helped both men grow within the company.

9 Kenny Omega vs Juice Robinson (Destruction In Kobe)

Kenny Omega has reached the point in his career where he is now able to make a star out of other performers. That is exactly what he managed to do at Destruction In Kobe with Juice Robinson.

Robinson was able to prove his worth in this match, showing he was at a level worthy of facing Kenny Omega as they traded major blows with some intense moves as Robinson really tried to get the victory. Robinson pulled everything out here to try and pull off an upset, forcing Omega to even hit his One-Winged Angel from the top rope in order to earn the victory.

8 Kenny Omega vs Pentagon Jr (ALL IN)

All In was one of the biggest and most important events in the history of professional wrestling, starting the group on a journey that would lead to AEW (which could only happen if the show was a success).

To ensure that they drew plenty of attention, the group put a dream match between Kenny Omega and Pentagon Jr on the card. Neither held anything back. Omega and Pentagon threw everything at each other, wrestling at a terrific pace and refusing to slow down until the end. They had fans watching every move with huge anticipation, living up to the hype.

7 Kenny Omega vs Kota Ibushi (DDT Nippon Budokan 2015)

This is a match that took place several years ago now and happened before Kenny Omega really burst into the mainstream, which means many fans haven't seen this classic against his best friend, Kota Ibushi.

Whilst they have faced each other since, this is their best outing against each other to date; the two men threw everything they had at each other in a very hard-hitting battle. Their friendship is clear within this match, but that doesn't mean they held back. If anything, they did the opposite, with a SnapDragon Suplex on the ring apron proving it.

6 Kenny Omega vs Hirooki Goku (G1 Climax Final 2016)

Another match that might have been slightly overlooked by more casual wrestling fans is one that everyone should see at least once. Omega was on the verge of creating wrestling history by winning the G1 Climax, and in order to do so, he needed to defeat Hirooki Goku.

Omega pulled moves out of many of his friends' books in this one, hitting Bloody Sunday, a Styles Clash and even attempting a Phoenix Splash to try and get the victory. In the end, it was his own One-Winged Angel that did the trick.

5 Kenny Omega vs Tetsuya Naito (G1 Climax Finals 2017)

Kenny Omega was in the middle of an incredible run --which saw him burst into the mainstream as one of the best wrestlers on the planet-- when he collided with Tetsuya Naito in the G1 Climax Finals in 2017.

Having faced off the year before in the semi-finals of the tournament, the two men knew each other well and put on match of the year candidates both times, somehow managing to top their original effort in the finals. Both men were forced to pull out all the tricks they had up their sleeves in a match that created some amazing near falls, until Naito was eventually able to finish off the Cleaner to get the win.

4 Kenny Omega vs Cody Rhodes (Supercard of Honor 12)

While they might be on the same page now as they attempt to change the world with AEW, Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega were once bitter rivals in what was a fantastic storyline over who would be in control of Bullet Club.

Cody and Omega told an incredible story over several months, with slight teases and words exchanged via the popular Being The Elite YouTube Channel, and it all built to this match at Supercard Of Honor. Thankfully, the match was able to live up to the hype. Both men brought everything they had in a bout that was packed with brilliant near-falls and some amazing storytelling.

3 Kenny Omega vs Chris Jericho (WrestleKingdom 12)

Their match at AEW's Double or Nothing, which headlined the PPV, was a fantastic bout, but it failed to live up to their previous encounter at WrestleKingdom 12 for New Japan Pro Wrestling.

The match was Jericho's first venture outside of WWE in years and some fans were worried that the veteran might not be able to keep up with the Cleaner. However, he quickly showed why he is one of the best to ever lace a pair of boots, more than matched Omega. It was a very physical and brutal battle, but the two also mixed it up in some great wrestling.

2 Golden Lovers vs Young Bucks (Strong Style Evolved 2018)

Whilst Kenny Omega is traditionally a singles wrestler, that doesn't mean he can't mix it up in the tag team division. He has proven this multiple times alongside his Golden Lovers partner, Kota Ibushi.

However, their match against the Young Bucks was so rich in story that the four men were able to take things to the next level. Inside the ring, all four men are amazing wrestlers but add the storyline that they had going and it goes to a whole new level.

1 Kenny Omega vs Kazuchika Okada (NJPW Dominion 2017)

Let's face it, every single one of the matches between Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada could have made this list, but to keep things more interesting, just one has been chosen: their epic battle at New Japan's Dominion event in 2017.

It was the perfect example of incredible storytelling throughout a match, with the two men putting on a real show for over 45 minutes. The two men showed how good they were when Okada hit his Rainmaker in the final 30 seconds but was too tired to make the cover, a simple detail that helped the match stand out above anything else. But, whenever these two men lock up, you know the match will be gold.
