WWE fans have been anticipating the Raw 25th Anniversary show, which is set to go down next Monday, January 22nd in New York City.

Unfortunately, one of WWE's all-time greats won't be able to make it.

Kevin Nash announced on Twitter that he won't be able to attend the special Raw 25th anniversary show after undergoing knee surgery just last month. He also recently shared a pretty nasty post-surgery photo of his knee.

So I can see why a plane ride for someone as big as Nash wouldn't be a very comfortable thing right now given the fact that his knee is healing from a major surgery.

Nash says that it's been bothering him for the past 33 years and he finally had to get his fixed. Unfortunately, he scheduled his surgery too close to the 25th anniversary show.

With Nash making the announcement only days in advance, it tells me that he intended on making it to New York, but his knee is not where it needs to be for him to get on a plane and make the trip.

At least Nash did confirm that he'll be at WrestleMania. So we can look forward to that.

Even though Nash will not be making the trip, WWE fans will be able to see greats like "Stone Cold" Steve AustinThe Undertaker, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Eric Bischoff, Jerry "The King" Lawler, Jim Ross, Sgt Slaughter "the Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase, The Godfather and Ron Simmons.

Some famous wrestlers from the women's division will include Torrie Wilson, Terri Runnels, Michelle McCool and Kelly Kelly.

One of the things that everyone is looking forward to seeing, is which legend will be teaming up with the biggest monster within WWE in Braun Strowman. I would think that having The Undertaker work with him would be special, since they have a similar style. Nash would have been a great wrestler to have Strowman team up with, but we now know that will not happen.
