Kevin Owens Pulled From SmackDown Live Weekend Shows

WWE SmackDown superstar Kevin Owens has dominated the headlines after teaming up with old foe Sami Zayn who helped him beat Shane McMahon at Hell in a Cell. Owens is gradually building himself up as arguably the top superstar in the entire company thanks to an impressive Universal Championship reign that saw him take down many of the top stars.

However, fans who are attending the upcoming shows in Argentina and Chile that were hoping to see Kevin Owens are in for some bad news. According to Andrew Ravens from eWrestlingNews.com, WWE has announced that K.O. will not be performing in the remaining SmackDown shows in the South American countries.

Per Ravens, the company announced he was pulled for "personal reasons," and not much more information is known beyond that. It should be noted that Owens did perform on Thursday's show in Buenos Aires.

Owens has been one of the fastest-growing talents in the WWE since coming over from NXT. He got over quickly by beating John Cena cleanly and has since defeated other elite talents like Seth Rollins, Chris Jericho, Shane McMahon, and others.

Most recently, Owens formed an alliance with Sami Zayn after the latter helped him beat Shane-O Mac. Owens has become one of the most gifted wrestlers and best microphone trash talkers, which helped him get on Vince McMahon's good side.

Owens has also been rumored to eventually move back to the Raw roster, which could be a big storyline leading up to Survivor Series in November. But we'll have to wait and see how long he's gone for before the WWE plans his next move/feud.

We fans can only hope all is well with Owens and his family, and that he'll be able to return to the ring before long.
