Ever since debuting with WWE in 2008, Kofi Kingston has become one of the most decorated superstars in the company. Kofi is both a Triple Crown Winner and Grand Slam Champion, collecting nearly every title that WWE has had available. He is also a legendary tag team competitor, holding the individual record for most days as a Tag Team Champion in WWE.

Throughout his career, Kofi has put together spectacular reigns as both a singles champion and tag team champion. But not all has been great when Kofi holds a title, as some of his reigns have been terrible. Looking at the entirety of his career, no one holds a championship resume quite like Kofi Kingston.

10 Worst: Intercontinental Championship - 3rd Reign (2011)

Kofi is a 4-time Intercontinental Champion, but none of his reigns have been very successful, with his 3rd reign being the worst. Kingston won the Intercontinental Title from Dolph Ziggler on the January 7th, 2011 episode of SmackDown.

The highlight of his reign was immediately after the match when acting General Manager Vickie Guerrero ordered a rematch between the two, which Kingston easily won again. He went on to lose a non-title match to Alberto Del Rio at Elimination Chamber 2011, before losing the title to Wade Barrett on the March 25th, 2011 episode of SmackDown.

9 Best: WWE Tag Team Championship - 3rd Reign (2015)

When looking at Kofi Kingston's greatest title reigns, it is impossible to ignore his 3rd reign with the WWE Tag Team Titles and his first with The New Day. The New Day had just turned heel when they won the titles and were hitting their stride for the first time.

They won the titles at Extreme Rules 2015 and would hold them for an extremely entertaining reign. While not a long reign, at only 49 days, they had a handful of great title defenses against Cesaro and Tyson Kidd and also successfully defended it in a great Elimination Chamber match at Elimination Chamber 2015.

8 Worst: SmackDown Tag Team Championship - 1st Reign (2017)

Kofi Kingston is one of the most legendary tag team wrestlers in WWE history, but not all of his tag team title reigns have been legendary, some of them have been awful. One of his worst was his first SmackDown Tag Team Title reign, with The New Day.

The New Day won the titles at Battleground 2017 against The Usos. They went on to hold the titles for only 27 days, before losing their titles to the Usos in their first title defense on the SummerSlam 2017 Kickoff Show. What made this worse for Kingston is that he didn't take part in the match where they lost the titles.

7 Best: United States Championship - 1st Reign (2009)

2009 was one of the best years of Kofi Kingston's career. One of his best stretches that year and was when he held the United States Title for his most dominant singles title reign.

Kofi won the United States Title on the June 1st, 2009 episode of Raw from MVP. He would go on to hold the title for 125 days and defend it many times and in different ways including triple threat matches, fatal four ways, and six-pack challenges. This entire reign felt special and helped Kofi continue his steady climb up the card.

6 Worst: SmackDown Tag Team Championship - 2nd Reign (2017)

After losing the SmackDown Tag Team Titles to The Usos at SummerSlam 2017, The New Day won them back from them 23 days later on the September 12th, 2017 episode of SmackDown. This title reign didn't end up any better than their last though.

The New Day held the SmackDown Tag Team Titles for only 25 days before losing them back to The Usos again, inside Hell In A Cell at Hell In A Cell 2017. Once again, Kofi was not part of the match where The New Day lost the titles.

5 Best: WWE Tag Team Championship - 1st Reign (2011)

Kofi Kingston And Evan Bourne Tag Team Champions

In 2011, Kofi formed a very entertaining tag team with Evan Bourne called Air Boom. Kofi and Bourne quickly rose to the top of the tag division and earned a WWE Tag Team Championship match against The New Nexus on the August 22, 2011 episode of Raw.

Air Boom ended up winning the titles and held the titles for one of the longest reigns of Kofi's career at 145 days. This reign offered many entertaining matches, and also served as a platform for Kofi to show how great of a tag team competitor he is for the first time of his career.

4 Worst: United States Championship - 3rd Reign (2013)

On the April 15th, 2013 episode of Monday Night Raw, Kofi Kingston pulled off one of the most shocking victories of his career when he defeated Cesaro and ended his historic 239-day United States Title reign.

Kofi's reign only went downhill from there though, as he proved to be a placeholder for the title. He defended it once against Cesaro on the April 30th, 2013 episode of Main Event, before losing it to Dean Ambrose at Extreme Rules 2013, which ended his reign at just 33 days.

3 Best: Raw Tag Team Championship - 4th Reign (2015 - 2016)

The New Day Raw Tag Team Champions

At SummerSlam 2015, Kofi Kingston won his fourth Raw Tag Team Title and his second with The New Day, by defeating the former champions The Prime Time Players, The Lucha Dragons, and Los Matadores in a Fatal Four Way match.

The New Day went on to hold the titles for 483 days, which is the longest tag team title reign in WWE history. They were one of the top acts in the company for the entirety of their run, successfully defending their titles 21 times in great matches against teams such as The Club, The League Of Nations, The Dudley Boyz, and The Usos.

2 Worst: World Tag Team Championship - 1st Reign (2008)

On the October 27th, 2008 episode of Raw, Kofi and CM Punk won the titles from Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase. Kingston and Punk had good chemistry both inside and outside the ring, but their reign ended up just as disappointing as it was bad.

They never ended up successfully defending the titles and were part of Team Batista in a losing effort at Survivor Series 2008. They lost their titles at a house show to The Miz and John Morrison on December 18th, 2008, ending their reign at only 47 days.

1 Best: WWE Championship - 1st Reign (2019)

This is the title reign that Kofi will always be remembered for. Leading up to WrestleMania 35, Kofi became one of the hottest superstars in WWE, overcoming numerous obstacles to earn a WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan.

Kingston won the WWE Championship from Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35, climbing to the mountain top for the first time in his career, claiming his first and only World Title. He held the title for 180 days, taking part in multiple memorable matches, and showed everybody he is capable of being a top guy.
