WWE wrestling star Lana can do more than get in the ring and put on a show. She's apparently pretty good at puncturing a ziplock bag filled with water with pencils.

Lana attempted to break the pencil bags Guinness World Record while she was doing Total Divas media with Natalya in New York City.

Unfortunately, Lana failed to set the record. She'll have to keep practicing in order to master her craft. If you can even say that this is a craft.

First of all, I had no idea a world record could be set when it comes to puncturing a bag full of water with pencils. I'm going to guess that while Lana hasn't been wrestling, she's been playing with pencils and bags of water in her down time.

When it comes to what's going on inside the ring, Lana recently spoke with CBS Sports and talked about former UFC star Ronda Rousey signing with WWE. She indicated that she's very good friends with Rousey and is happy to have her on board, since she'll only make everyone around her better.

"Another great thing about WWE, which we already touched on, is that competition breeds a better product. Competition breeds excellence. Every single woman in our division wants to be better, and they want our division to be better. We continue to strive to make it better.

"If Ronda is gonna drive competition and drive us to want even more or to want to shine even more or is she going to … be a part of our division. It’s one of those things that, at the end of the day, everybody wants to shine, but if it creates an even more exciting environment in WWE, great."

The 32 year-old Lana has a background as a singer after spending time with a group called No Means Yes. They were signed to a record label and released a single in 2009. They only recorded two more songs before the group broke up in 2010.

Lana then went on to work as a back up dancer for musical stars like Nelly, Pink, Usher, Akon and others. She also dabbled in acting and was in movies like Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2.

In June of 2013, Lana was signed by WWE to work under their developmental company, NXT Wrestling, and made her debut in October of that year.

Lana was drafted onto Raw brand in July of 2016. But she was just drafted onto the SmackDown main roster in April of 2017 as a part of a roster shake up.

While Lana hasn't won a championship yet, she did participate in a five-way elimination match in July of last year, in order to have a shot at becoming the top contender for the SmackDown Women's Championship. Unfortunately, she was eliminated.
