The sudden passing of Brodie Lee is something that has rocked the wrestling world, and since that point, there has been an outpouring of love and respect towards The Dark Order leader and Wyatt Family member. While it has been made clear that Brodie was a tremendous human being, he was also an incredible professional wrestler.

The storyline that saw Randy Orton join The Wyatt Family was really well put together and actually saw Luke Harper benefit massively. He deserved to be put into the World Title scene at this time, but WWE let him down by not making that decision.

However, he did get to go one-on-one with Randy Orton and the two of them had a really enjoyable match together. They're both masters when it comes to storytelling and that was clear throughout, with the small details being really well done in this one.

9 AEW: Brodie Lee vs Christopher Daniels (AEW Dynamite, 5/13/20)

Seeing two veterans collide on AEW Dynamite was a lot of fun, as Brodie Lee and Christopher Daniels put together a really fun match. While there was plenty going on here with brawls between The Dark Order and SCU, it was an enjoyable television match.

It wasn't about being fast-paced and frantic like some of Brodie's other matches are. But instead, this was just a good quality technical match, with the usual hard-hitting style that is expected from Lee.

Luke Harper's last major match of note in WWE saw him team up with Erick Rowan once again to take on the dream team of Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan. With this being a tornado tag team match, it was incredibly frantic with lots going on at all points in the match.

The bout had incredible energy and it was very exciting to see. Harper and Rowan were as dominant as they could be physically, while Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan worked well as a team to combine together to create a really thrilling match.

7 AEW: The Dark Order & Colt Cabana vs The Elite & FTR (AEW Dynamite, 7/30/20)

Normally, a 12-man tag team match can be incredibly chaotic and difficult to enjoy because there's so much going on. However, this match was incredibly well put together with everyone getting time to shine and the right stories being told.

Brodie Lee was the real highlight of this match, really dominating with his performance in the ring, as well as his incredible storytelling with the rest of his Dark Order members, which made this a treat to watch.

Luke Harper and Erick Rowan always had amazing chemistry with The Usos, as they were two teams who worked together a lot. This two out of three falls match provided them with a lot of time to work and that led to an amazing match.

The combination of the Wyatt's physical style and The Usos' highflying ability just worked wonders here. They paced the match out perfectly, and there was a real buzz from the crowd which helped to make it feel even more special.

5 AEW: Brodie Lee vs Dustin Rhodes (AEW Dynamite, 9/9/20)

Brodie Lee's spell as TNT Champion was arguably the highlight of his entire career, and his title match against Dustin Rhodes was an amazing one. It was hard-hitting and truly brutal, as Dustin poured out his emotion to try and regain the title for the Rhodes family.

However, in the end, it would be Brodie Lee who came out on top, just having enough to edge the veteran. However, this one went back-and-forth and was incredibly exciting, as Dustin came very close to pulling off a big surprise at various points.

Fighting over the Intercontinental Championship, this ladder match is easily one of the best of Luke Harper's career. The two men threw everything they had at each other throughout this match in what was an incredibly physical and hard-hitting encounter.

They did a really strong job at using the ladder as a weapon, and they both really put their bodies on the line to make this a truly brutal affair. It was an incredible match with each man selling to perfection to make it as exciting as possible.

3 AEW: Brodie Lee vs Cody Rhodes (AEW Dynamite, 10/7/20)

 

While nobody knew it at the time this was actually the final match of Brodie Lee's career, and what an incredible way it was to bow out. Competing for the TNT Championship in a dog collar match, the two men put together a brutal and bloody encounter.

They made the most of the stipulation itself and really worked an incredible match that was full of emotion and hard-hitting action. Cody refused to quit in this one, fighting back against everything that Brodie threw at him.

The Wyatt Family and The Shield will go down as two of the greatest factions of all time, and their six-man tag team encounter at Elimination Chamber really was a magical moment for WWE.

The fans were unglued before the bell even rang and once the action started it was kept to a truly fast pace as all six men brought their very best. It was frantic and full of consistent action with everyone being made to look fantastic as both groups impressed on the night.

This match was the true validation of all of Brodie Lee's hard work throughout his career, getting his top main event, the World Championship match against Jon Moxley. These are two men who know each other incredibly well, and that certainly showed throughout the match.

It was very physical, as expected, and the momentum certainly swayed back and forth as Brodie Lee gave as good as he got against the World Champion. It was an amazing encounter that ended the PPV in style and will be remembered as one of his greatest matches.
