The WWE announced today that acclaimed Hip-Hop artist and regular contributor to WWE programming, Machine Gun Kelly, will be performing at the 15th annual WWE Tribute to the Troops at Naval Base San Diego.
Machine Gun Kelly also confirmed the news today in a tweet letting his fans know he was going to be part of the show which airs on December 12, 2014, on the USA Network.

Among other tracks, Kelly will be performing his new song "Home". It's a song that will also be featured in the upcoming Netflix film, “Bright,” starring Will Smith.
Kelly, also known as MGK is a longtime WWE fan. He's also no stranger to performing at a number of high-profile WWE events. He performed during John Cena’s WrestleMania XXVIII entrance and on an edition of Raw, where he withstood a powerbomb from Kevin Owens off the stage. At the time, Owens was feuding with Cena while Kelly and Cena were considered "friends."

Kelly has been a performer since a young age, releasing a number of mixtapes and his debut album in 2012. He's since released a few other singles and starred in a variety of movies from Beyond the Lights, Roadies and Nerve.
WWE will be honoring members of the military with their Tribute to the Troops special that comes around each year and right around the Christmas season. Unlike other weekly programs, this show is a once-a-year special and will air on Thursday during "WWE Week" on the USA Network. Outside of the WWE talent traveling to see the troops, WWE tends to bring a few special guests. This year, one of those guests is Machine Gun Kelly.
He may not be the most festive choice and he might not be a favorite among the Troops, but he's always entertaining and he's a huge WWE fan. That alone counts for a lot.
