One of the biggest names in Impact Wrestling is set to return to Ring Of Honor after a nine-year absence.

Madison Rayne will be facing off against Deonna Purrazzo at Survival of the Fittest November 19th in Oklahoma City. The billet is a huge reintroduction to the Women of Honor, facing her against the wily veteran for sure to be a triumphant return.

Ashley Lomberger, who goes by her ring-name Madison Rayne, has become an international wrestling sensation. A five-time TNA Knockouts Champion with Impact Wrestling, a former TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion, and half of the former Shimmer Tag Team Champions, Rayne brings over a decade of experience to the ring.

Rayne first got her start in Ohio Championship Wrestling back in 2005, where she’d eventually become the OCW Women's Champ in 2007. From there she began to tour the indie wrestling scene, competing in various promotions like Mad-Pro Wrestling, New Era Pro Wrestling and PRIME Wrestling.

She began in Shimmer Women Athletes, an all women's wrestling league, in 2007 under the ring name Ashley Lane. She’d go on to become Shimmer Tag Team Champions with then partner Nevaeh until leaving the promotion in 2009. She’d return in 2011 but began a feud with her former partner over her departure two years prior.

In 2009 Lomberger adopted the name Madison Rayne and debuted in Total Nonstop Action, which would later rename itself Impact Wrestling. She joined The Beautiful People, a stable which imaginatively used narcism as their shtick, and teamed up with partner Roxxi to become the inaugural Knockouts Tag Team Champions in 2010.

Rayne would then compete on her own to become the Knockouts Champion as well, becoming the first woman ever to hold both titles simultaneously.

For the next seven years, Rayne would contend in the Knockouts Division as she won the title four more times since her debut. She’d win it twice in 2010 after defeating Angelina Love and Tara (although her victory over Tara is questionable as she allowed herself to be pinned for the match), again in 2012 after defeating Miss Tessmacher, and for the fifth time in 2013 after beating Gail Kim.

In July she announced she was leaving Impact Wrestling and now returns to Ring Of Honor at Survival of the Fittest.
