Black's not just a terrific in-ring worker, but he's also someone who can add really great levels of detail. That is something that he has been able to do throughout his career, and it has already continued within his career in AEW after being released by WWE. Without a doubt, the worst version of Malakai Black to this point was his final spell in WWE. He was brought out to be involved in the storyline between Apollo Crews and Big E, but he didn't have much actual purpose.

It was a shame because if WWE had actually committed to it, then there's a chance it could have become interesting. But because Black was thrown into the mix and then quickly released, this was a forgettable situation that people will not remember.

A much stronger portion of Malakai Black's career came during his time on the independent scene. While he is typically remembered as a singles star in that world, he did enjoy a great tag team run as well.

At the moment, it is difficult to truly judge the latest version of Malakai Black as his career in AEW has been very short so far. However, the early signs are very positive with fans having loved everything he has done so far.

He's put a lot of effort into the small details of his character on social media and attacking Cody Rhodes immediately has worked perfectly. He has been built up as a top star straight away, which is crucial, and hopefully, that is only going to continue.

The mystery around the storyline was perfect, especially with Nikki Cross being heavily involved in everything only made things even more interesting as she teased who was involved.

4 Teaming With Ricochet

A tag-team between Ricochet and Aleister Black is something that nobody saw coming, but it ended up being fantastic. Starting out in NXT and eventually making their way to the main roster together, they had amazing chemistry.

It wasn't so much about promos and character work, but instead, their in-ring battles did everything instead. They were thrilling to watch with lots of high-flying moves and strikes which helped to make the team so great.

When it comes to Aleister Black's main roster run with WWE, the main thing that people will remember about it will be his feud with Buddy Murphy. The two men put together some unforgettable matches which helped to boost the careers of each man.

They simply got into the ring and created magic. With Seth Rollins eventually getting involved as well to add some further story into the situation, they created some amazing moments.

One of the greatest versions of Malakai Black came prior to him signing for WWE and gaining major recognition. When he was working around the world as a singles wrestler under the name of Tommy End, he was able to put together some amazing matches.

This was particularly true in Europe where he became one of the biggest stars in the scene at that time. He was somebody that everybody wanted to see and that's a testament to his own ability and in-ring work at that time.
