WWE has reportedly parted ways with its Senior Director of Talent Relations Mark Carrano.

The story was first reported by WrestlingInc on Thursday evening.

In case you missed it, an incident known as #TrashBagGate was ignited early on Thursday when Mickie James shared an image of her gear in a trash bag. The gear had just been returned to the recently released veteran from WWE, and the state in which it arrived was not ideal. The gear had been disrespectfully shoved into a trash bag and then shoved into a box before being shipped to James.

Following Mickie's tweet, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, and John Laurinaitis issued statements in which they claimed that the person responsible had been fired.

"I am embarrassed you or anyone else would be treated this way. I apologize personally and on behalf of [WWE]. The person responsible is no longer with our company," Stephanie tweeted.

Carrano's alleged firing occurring on the same day as the trash bag incident has led many to speculate that Carrano was the one responsible.
