Quite a few fans are grateful that Mark Henry is being inducted into the Hall Of Fame, but none more so than the man himself.

The 2018 WWE Hall Of Fame class is complete (we think) and in two weeks time the select group of former WWE Superstars will be honored and reach one of the highest pinnacles possible in professional wrestling. This year's class includes Goldberg, The Dudley Boyz, Ivory, Jeff Jarrett, Hillbilly Jim, Warrior Award recipient Jarrius 'JJ' Robertson, Kid Rock, and the final man announced this past Monday Mark Henry.

The World's Strongest Man has been deserving of a place in the Hall Of Fame for a number of years now having wrestled in WWE for 22 straight years and it was really just a question of him retiring first. That happened recently, albeit something that was kept relatively quiet, and now it's time for him to take up his rightful place in the hall.

You can tell by the reaction from the many people Henry has shared a locker room with that he is an extremely nice guy behind the scenes. That belief has only been compounded following Henry's own reaction to his Hall Of Fame announcement. The former World Champion was a guest on Busted Open Radio after the news had broken and described his impending induction as an 'unbelievable feeling' and that his love of wrestling made him the man he is today.

Henry said a lot of telling things during the interview including a shout out to all those people out there who love wrestling and would sacrifice eating for the day just to be able to buy a wrestling ticket. He recalls being that fan long before he was signed by WWE and assured those who are like it today that they are not alone.

Perhaps the best quote from the interview was when Henry said 'You want to be rich, and not rich with material things, money, but the respect and relationships that you established'. That one sentence probably sums up Mark Henry to everyone that doesn't know how nice a guy he is. Hopefully he uses that line during his Hall Of Fame speech in two weeks or a variation of it because it is extremely poignant.
