Matt Riddle took to Twitter Wednesday and prior to Goldberg's match with The Undertaker at Super ShowDown, basically called him a terrible wrestler.

To say that Goldberg is not the world's best in-ring performer is not a stretch. It's likely even Goldberg will admit he didn't make his fortune or become one of WCW's most popular stars by out-wrestling his opponents. A spear, a jackhammer, and a quick 1-2-3 was typically a Goldberg match, and rarely did they last much longer than a few seconds.

Still, fans can't deny the mark he left on the industry or the drawing power he has as a performer, even 15 years after he was at the height of his popularity.

One current WWE performer doesn't seem to feel the same way.

NXT star Matt Riddle took to Twitter Wednesday, a proceeded to poke fun at Goldberg for his lack of technical prowess. Saying, “I can’t wait until your match this Friday so I can see how good you are at wrestling," the shot was meant to suggest Goldberg was an awful wrestler.

Where this comes from is unclear but there's an evident beef for Riddle when it comes to Goldberg. He posted a photo of Goldberg blocking him on Twitter and Riddle has a history of using the social media platform to get attention.

Saying in the past his legacy will include retiring Brock Lesnar and this past week suggesting he'd show up on Monday to ruin Lesnar's Money in the Bank cash-in surprise, Riddle is no stranger to stirring up controversy.

What This Means

Will a match come out of this? Probably not. This Goldberg appearance is probably a one-shot deal and Riddle is likely right if he's hinting that this could be a quick match. Neither Goldberg nor The Undertaker are exactly in their prime.

But, this is a match the people of Saudi Arabia wanted to see and paid WWE an awful lot of money to make it happen. So, whether or not either competitor can "wrestle" at this stage in their career, that's irrelevant.
