The McMahon-Helmsley Regime took over the Attitude Era at the turn of the century. Led by Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, the two would rule over the WWE from 1999 to 2002.

The faction's core members included DX and the McMahon family, but there were also several members of the roster who were associated with the group to ensure they remained in power. With a dozen people affiliated with Triple H and Stephanie, it can be hard to remember everyone who played a part in their three-year reign.

10 Forgot: Jerry Lawler

Jerry Lawler

When you're an evil faction running the WWE, you need your voice represented on the commentary team, and Jerry The King Lawler was more than happy to be that mouthpiece. Stephanie and Triple H would regularly share their appreciation of Lawler's point-of-view while berating Jim Ross for his alleged bias. During the Attitude Era, Lawler was one of the best heel commentators around and fit in perfectly with the new regime by putting over anyone associated with the faction.

9 Best: Big Show

Big Show

During the Attitude Era, everyone in the WWE wanted to have the Big Show on their good side. Show would become associated with the stable through Shane McMahon and attempt to get the WWE Championship away from The Rock. McMahon would regularly interfere in matches and don a referee shirt to help Show gain wins. The duo would even go on to form a faction within the McMahon Helmsley stable known as The Conspiracy with other known associates and continue to cause havoc on the roster.

8 Forgot: Bull Buchanan

Bull Buchanan

Before Bull Buchanan donned a white shirt and black tie as a member of Right To Censor, he was dressed in black and watching the back of the Big Boss Man and the McMahon-Helmsley Faction. Buchanan began as a protege for Boss Man before eventually being betrayed by his mentor. Their partnership would end when they lost to The Hardy Boyz, and Boss Man struck his protégé in the temple with his nightstick. Boss Man would continue to remain aligned with Triple H and Stephanie, while Buchanan went out on his own.

7 Best: Christian

Christian

Christian initially found himself on the wrong side of the McMahon-Helmsley Faction when he and Edge would challenge The New Age Outlaws for the WWF Tag Team Titles. But once Christian started hanging out with Kurt Angle, he was accepted as an associate of the group.

Despite being one of the smaller associates of the faction, Christian would play an enforcer role for the McMahons and would attack anyone who opposed the regime. Even though they had Big Show on their side, they would still send Christian to dish out punishment.

6 Forgot: Chris Benoit

Chris Benoit Us cHAMPIO

Per the storyline, the McMahon-Helmsley Faction was responsible for Chris Benoit and the rest of The Radicalz getting signed with WWE. The only task they had to perform was turn on Commissioner Mick Foley by giving him a beatdown. After signing on the dotted line, Benoit would quickly align himself with Shane McMahon and jump into any fight that required extra bodies. While the rest of The Radicalz would splinter off to pursue their own interests, Benoit and McMahon would set their sights on crippling The Rock.

5 Best: Edge

Edge

Whereever Christian was, Edge was not far behind him. Before he became the Rated R Superstar, Edge would gang up on Kurt Angle with Christian and embarrass the Olympic Hero on several occasions. But the shenanigans were all in good fun, and whenever the McMahon-Helmsley Faction needed Edge, then he would be of service. Edge would also become a member of Shane McMahon's faction, The Conspiracy, in an attempt to get their hands back on the WWF Tag Team Championships.

4 Forgot: Big Boss Man

Big Boss Man

Upon returning to WWE in 1998, the Big Boss Man would quickly become one of the most hated characters in the company. From towing the Big Show's father's casket to cooking Al Snow's dog, there was nothing the Boss Man wouldn't do to get in an opponent's head.

As resentment rose for the McMahon-Helmsley Faction, Triple H and Stephanie would recruit Big Boss Man and Bull Buchanan as personal security and would stand in the way of anyone hoping to interact with the power couple.

3 Best: William Regal

Regal

William Regal was one of the most underrated figures of the Attitude Era. He assumed power of the commissioner role when Vince McMahon fired Mick Foley, quickly aligning himself with the McMahon-Helmsley Faction. The move benefited Triple H, who was attempting to hold on to the WWE Championship and Stephanie, who was looking to acquire her own gold in the form of the Women's Title. His allegiance to Stephanie would see Regal eventually become Commissioner of The Alliance during the Invasion angle.

2 Forgot: Test

Test

One of the strangest associates of the McMahon-Helmsley Faction was Test. Not that long after being interrupted at the alter by Triple H and embarrassed by Stephanie when she chose to align herself with The Game, Test would side with the group along with his tag team partner Albert. They would act as bodyguards and assist Shane McMahon anytime he needed wrestlers to attack The Rock. The allegiance would come to an end when Test, Albert, and their manager Trish Stratus all went their separate ways.

1 Best: Kurt Angle

Angle

One of the most entertaining associates of the McMahon-Helmsley Faction was Kurt Angle. The antics between Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Angle would make for hilarious situations. The love triangle involved Angle believing he was fighting for Stephanie's honor and Helmsley getting upset at how close the two were getting. All three played their parts to perfection and fans were happy to see them reunite for their rivalry at WrestleMania 34 and include Rhonda Rousey in the mix.
