There has been some sad news out of Mexico today involving the death of Mexican Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion wrestler Pedro Aguayo Ramirez (better known as Hijo del Perro Aguayo). The incident took place Friday night while he was fighting in a tag team match with former WWE wrestler Rey Mysterio.

Mysterio's patented move is the "619" in which he delivers a kick to the face of a wrestler whose head is draped on the second rope. Well, the move didn't go exactly as planned last night and according to news reports, Ramirez - trying to avoid the move - took the kick right to his trachea.

The match actually continued on for a few minutes before Ramirez got any kind of medical attention. At that point he was placed on a backbrace and taken to the hospital where reports say he was pronounced dead at 1am Saturday morning.

You can see the last moments of the match in the video, but I warn you it might not be easy to watch.
