Mickie James is one of the best known WWE Divas in the history of the company. She is the only woman in wrestling history to have held the WWE Women's, Divas, and TNA Knockouts belts and it seems that WWE has decided that they need her back on their payroll.

The former Women's Champion re-signed a multi-year deal with WWE is believed that she will be heading to the SmackDown brand in January. The brand is definitely in need of an experience injection since the Raw women are blowing them out of the water every week.

It will be interesting to see how Mickie fits back into WWE more than six years after her departure, especially since she is going to the roster with her ex-fiance and the man she cheated on him with, John Cena.

Cena is currently on hiatus so the duo is not likely to cross paths for a while. A lot has changed in the past few years as well, Mickie has married and just welcomed her first child, so she is definitely a changed woman.

The former TNA star definitely made an impression at NXT TakeOver: Toronto a few weeks ago and Triple H mentioned that he was open to signing her despite the loss to Asuka. It seems that Mickie returned with a new mentality and she could be set to bring some of that confidence to Tuesday nights in 2017.
