WWE star Neville has been all over the news over the past couple of days.
First, Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reported on Tuesday night that Neville has requested his release from the WWE. This comes after he was scheduled to wrestle and lose against Enzo Amore on Monday night Raw and never appeared on the show.
Instead, the WWE had Kalisto face off against Amore, with Kalisto winning the Cruiserweight Championship. Neville's future is "up in the air," per Marc Middleton of WrestlingInc, and that was the extent of what we know.
Now there is a report out that states something different. PWInsider.com is reporting that sources told them that Neville hasn't left the WWE. Aside from that, Wrestle Zone says they've reached out to the WWE for a comment, but haven't heard from them at this point. Our guess is that Neville isn't happy with his role within the WWE and he's threatening to leave if things don't change.

As of right now, it might be safe to assume that Neville isn't leaving the WWE. But things could change. They're likely trying to work something out in order to make both sides happy going forward. The WWE can still make a lot of money by using Neville and marketing him in a way that will draw fans to him.
Aside from winning the Cruiserweight Championship, things haven't gone great for Neville, since moving up from NXT. After dropping the show's title, Neville seemed poised for a huge push once he got called up to the main roster. Unfortunately, it didn't work out that way.
He was forced to drop his first name "Adrian" and given a "Mighty Mouse" gimmick. In spite of that, he was still voted as the most exciting new star by the WWE fans and was even given a title shot against Seth Rollins. Don't let that fool you, however, Neville was pretty directionless.
In fact, his inclusion in the Cruiserweight division felt like the first time the WWE had a clear plan for the star. Still, all we can do at this point is speculate about why Neville walked out, and if his absence will be permanent.
