Neville Had An INSANE Travel Schedule In WWE

Enzo Amore shed some light on Neville's travel schedule and how great a performer the Cruiserweight Champion is to work with.

The curious case of Neville in WWE is an ongoing one that remains unsolved. The former Cruiserweight Champion walked out of Raw months ago, yet his status with WWE doesn't seem to have been decided one way or the other. Every now and again there are rumors that the Brit is close to a return only for the 205 Live star to not back up those rumors by showing up.

It's also still unclear as to what led Neville to turn tail and leave WWE, yet still be under contract with the promotion. At the time of his walk out there was talk that Vince McMahon wanted the former NXT Champion to lose to Enzo Amore on the night in question. However considering how highly Amore speaks of him, that seems unlikely.

The current Cruiserweight Champ sat down with The Sun recently and discussed the somewhat touchy subject of Neville. Amore told the British publication that Neville is one of his favorite pros in the business. He also praised Neville for the travel schedule that he had to work when he was with WWE.

"When guys were catching red-eye flights from the west coast after Raw, Neville was driving on to the next town or taking an early morning flight', Amore explained. 'It's the hardest schedule in pro wrestling because you are closing out 205 Live at the end of the week."

Smacktalker Skywalker is certainly not wrong in what he's saying here. The cruiserweights all have to be at Raw every Monday and then have to stay until the very end of SmackDown Live on Tuesdays so that they can then perform on 205 Live. As champion of the brand, Neville was the man with the hardest job. However considering Amore is the current Cruiserweight Champion, it does feel a little like he is giving himself a pat on the back here also.

As mentioned above it is currently unclear as to what Neville's status is with WWE right now. The British Superstar is still under contract with the company and his profile is still active on WWE.com. However there have been reports that Neville requested his release but WWE refused to give it to him. Maybe we will see him in a WWE ring again, but the more time that passes the less likely that seems.
