Over the past few years, there has not been a more successful group of wrestlers in WWE than The New Day. This is a little surprising because when New Day started, the fans turned on them and wanted nothing to do with them. However, Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods worked hard and won the fans over.

After that, New Day was almost unstoppable on the tag team scene. Using the Freebird Rule, the three men won seven WWE Tag Team Titles. They broke Demolition's long-standing record for the longest title reign. Over the last six years, they have remained at the top of WWE, and here are their five best and five worst feuds.

10 BEST: THE USOS

While The New Day has ruled the WWE tag team scene no matter where they competed, they have often had to share the role of WWE's best tag team with The Usos. New Day is seven-time champions, and The Usos are six-time champions.

The New Day holds the record for the longest tenure as Raw Tag Team Champions, and The Usos hold the same record on SmackDown. Against each other, they have beated each other twice in title changes on SmackDown and remain the top of the mountain for WWE tag teams.

9 WORST: LUCHA DRAGONS

The New Day were trying to find their feed when they started feuding with two tag teams — Cesaro and Tyson Kidd and The Lucha Dragons. This was not the Lucha House Party that fans today know, but the tag team of Sin Cara and Kalisto.

It was during this feud that fans started to chant "New Day Sucks," and this was also when Xavier Woods began to cheat to help his team win. Many fans thought New Day would implode with Woods as the instigator, and it almost killed them before they got a chance to roll.

8 BEST: THE SHIELD

The Shield was easily the best three-man unit in WWE history. The three men all became World Champions at points in their careers, and they also worked as a great tag team early on with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns working as Tag Team Champions.

Then, suddenly, people were calling The New Day the best three-man unit in WWE. In 2017, the two groups feuded. It was a fantastic moment for fans to see the two trios fighting, and even though The Shield won at Survivor Series that year, it helped elevate New Day even more.

7 WORST: THE DUDLEY BOYZ

10 Wrestling Brothers Who Are Surprisingly Not Related

The Dudley Boyz made their surprise return in 2015. While fans seemed excited to see them back, as nostalgia always gets a pop in WWE, they changed things up. The Dudley Boyz attacked the heel New Day and put Xavier Woods through a table.

There was a big problem with this. While WWE thought the Dudley Boyz attacking the heel New Day would get them a pop, fans were already starting to change the chants from "New Day Sucks" to "New Day Rocks." New Day lost twice by DQ and then won the feud two months later.

6 BEST: THE REVIVAL

The Revival is the best heel tag team in WWE today. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder are a throwback team similar to the Brainbusters. The comparisons are significant, as The Brainbusters had great matches with babyface teams like The Rock n' Roll Express, Road Warriors, and Rockers.

The Revival are, similarly, perfect opponents for babyface teams like The New Day. The feud between the two was excellent, with The Revival wanting to be taken seriously and New Day goofing off all the time. The two teams even traded the SmackDown titles back and forth in 2019.

5 WORST: LEAGUE OF NATIONS

10 WWE Factions We Forgot Ever Existed

When The New Day feuded with The Shield, it was amazing to see the two best trios in WWE going to war against each other. However, when New Day took on a four-man faction in League of Nations, it was a lot less interesting. That is because the League of Nations were already dead on arrival.

What should have been a great unit was only put together to put Roman Reigns over. When Reigns finished with them, they were no longer getting any heat. Wade Barrett was ready to leave, as was Alberto Del Rio, and the New Day feud didn't save them.

4 BEST: THE BAR

While Sheamus didn't see much success as the leader of the League of Nations, he found a great spot in a tag team with Cesaro. What started as a feud between two of the hardest hitters in WWE turned into one of the best duos in the company, known as The Bar.

On SmackDown, The Bar beat The New Day for the tag team titles and went on to enjoy a 102-day run. The team also enjoyed a ton of success on Raw, with four title reigns (a Raw record), and that included ending New Day's record-breaking 483-day title reign.

3 WORST: GALLOWS AND ANDERSON

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are one of the most successful tag teams of the last decade. Sadly, most of that acclaim came from their work in New Japan and not in WWE. They joined WWE around the same time as their NJPW running mate AJ Styles and then drifted along.

Gallows and Anderson got a nice push in 2019. However, that was after languishing for the start of their WWE careers. The two teams feuded for four months in 2016, and The New Day dominated the entire feud during their record-setting title reign.

2 BEST: THE BLUDGEON BROTHERS

With The New Day, Usos, and The Bar as the top tag teams on SmackDown, it was like a renaissance for the tag team division. Then, the Bludgeon Brothers showed up and destroyed all three teams. When a team like New Day has built up the reputation that they have, losing so clearly made this new team major stars.

It also wasn't the first time they feuded. The New Day also feuded with The Wyatt Family before this, and they put on great matches then too. Rowan and Harper always worked well with The New Day in WWE.

1 WORST: THE VAUDEVILLAINS

The Vaudevillains were a top tag team in NXT, but no one saw them as a main event caliber team. Their entrance was tailor-made for NXT and didn't carry over as well to the stages of Raw or SmackDown. Feuding with this team did nothing for The New Day.

The feud also included Enzo Amore and Big Cass, and between those three teams, there was no way that The Vaudevillains could compete, or even try to compare. This was during the record-setting title reign and was New Day's most forgettable feud.
