Botches are part of wrestling. The men and women working in the ring of any promotion are human beings and the reality is that humans make mistakes, no matter what their professions are. But there always wrestlers who seem to be botch magnets. In WWE, Nia Jax is that person.

Over the years, Nia has been party to several nasty botches and injuries to her opponents. Some fans accuse her of being an unsafe worker while others chalk it up to bad luck. Whatever the truth of the situation is, it's undeniable that she's been in the ring for some nasty moments.

10 Mandy Rose Takes An Awkward Fall

WWE

One of the most recent botches featured Mandy Rose. WWE's booking of Rose has been confusing, to say the least. They split up her tag team with Sonya Deville and paired her up with Otis. Then, they suddenly moved her to Raw, killing her singles push, and put her in a random tag team with Dana Brooke.

To make matters worse, she lost her spot on the Raw Women's Survivor Series team thanks to an injury. In a match with Nia, Mandy took a nasty tumble outside the ring thanks to Jax and was injured. It cut any momentum she and Dana had off.

9 Ember Moon Gets Injured

WWE

Trained by Booker T, Ember Moon quickly became a fan favorite in NXT. She had epic feuds with both Asuka and Shayna Baszler. Additionally, she's a former NXT Women's Champion. Her main roster run was a little uneven but her return to NXT has a lot of potential to put her back in the main event picture.

While on the main roster, Moon teamed with Ronda Rousey to take on Jax and Tamina. Moon was injured by Jax, leading to her husband calling Jax out on Twitter and referring to her as an "unsafe moron."

8 The Man's "Stone Cold Moment"

WWE

Becky Lynch's time as "The Man" took her career to new heights. One year, it seemed like WWE management had all but forgotten about her. The next year, she was in the main event of WrestleMania and walked away with two championship belts.

As odd as this sounds, Nia Jax played a key part in that sudden growth. When Lynch led a SmackDown invasion of Raw, Nia accidentally punched her in the face. Becky ended up with a legit broken nose. But the image of her celebrating with her face covered in blood became the defining image of her run as "The Man."

7 Zelina Vega And The Evolution Battle Royale

WWE

Zelina Vega was trained by Tommy Dreamer as a wrestler but she joined WWE as a manager. And she was an incredibly good one at that. Unfortunately, WWE released her due to violations of their new social media policies, a decision most fans and talent did not agree with.

Vega and Jax were participants in a Battle Royale at the Evolution pay-per-view in 2018. Jax was supposed to Gorilla Press Slam Zelina out of the ring but screwed it up. The result was a concussion that kept Vega out of action for a few weeks.

6 Failing To Catch Charlotte Flair

WWE

Charlotte Flair has been at the top of WWE's Women's Division for years. Love her or hate her, she is an incredible in-ring performer. She is a powerful competitor who packs a punch but also has a great submission in her tool kit. What makes Charlotte even more interesting is the fact that she can go to the top rope.

In a singles match against Nia, Flair went for a Diving Moonsault. Jax was supposed to catch her but missed and Flair landed hard. Charlotte got up and kept going but it easily could have ended much, much worse for "The Queen."

5 Almost Breaking The Queen's Neck

WWE

Just because Nia had a potentially fatal botch in a match doesn't mean that she can't fit in one more. In addition to missing the catch on the Diving Moonsault, Jax screwed up a shoulder breaker and spiked Flair head first off of her knee. That easily could have broken Flair's neck.

For her part, Flair downplayed both botches during interviews with her after that match. That being said, the reality of the situation was quite serious. Those were two potentially career-ending botches in one bout.

4 Busting Kairi Sane Open

WWE

Calling Kairi Sane an international wrestling phenomenon would be an understatement. She was a huge star in Japan, then joined NXT. While there, she won the inaugural Mae Young Classic and went on to become the NXT Women's Champion. On the main roster, she and Asuka won the Women's Tag Team Championships.

But a botch from Nia may have contributed to her current hiatus from WWE. Nia tossed her into the ring steps, inflicting a huge laceration on her head. Nia's blame on this one was in question but her involvement was not.

3 Tossing Kairi Into The Turnbuckle

WWE

Unfortunately for Kairi, the ring steps incident wasn't her only run in with Nia Jax. And it also wasn't the most dangerous. A few months earlier, Jax attempted a Buckle Bomb on Sane but screwed it up. Sane landed neck first on the lower turnbuckle and slammed hard into the mat.

Kairi had a number of reasons to head back to Japan, even if it's only in the short term. A big reason was her husband who didn't move to America. But it's not hard to imagine that these kinds of incidents with Jax contributed to her need to take a step back.

2 Alexa Bliss' Shoulder Injury

WWE

In real life, Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax are reputedly quite good friends. But in the ring, they had a heated rivalry that led to Jax winning her first and only singles championship in WWE. She won that title from Bliss at WrestleMania and defended it against her at Backlash a few weeks later.

It was reported after that Backlash match that Bliss had received a shoulder injury and would be out of action for a while. Jax wasn't personally identified as the cause of the injury but it does fit in with a larger pattern.

1 Taking Bayley Out Of A Title Match

WWE

In the last couple of years, Bayley has been on an absolute tear. Her heel turn has done wonders for her career as did her 380-day reign as the SmackDown Women's Champion. But back in the days of "The Hugger," Nia Jax cost Bayley a SummerSlam title match against Alexa Bliss.

Prior to SummerSlam, Bayley faced off against Jax in a one on one match. Jax reputedly botched a slam that inflicted a shoulder injury on Bayley. Because of this injury, Bayley was not medically cleared to compete at SummerSlam and lost her title shot.
