Nikki Bella dropped a hint via her and Brie's YouTube channel that her and her fiance John Cena may very well tie the knot at WrestleMania 34.
One of the take home moments from this year's WrestleMania was John Cena finally popping the question to Nikki Bella after the WWE power couple successfully fended off The Miz and Maryse in a mixed tag match. Although it was a real life angle that most of us saw coming, it certainly made for quite a WrestleMania moment. But until now, nothing there's been no word on when the wedding will actually happen between the two Superstars.
Bella hinted to fans that her engagement may last almost exactly one year as she seems to like the idea of her and Big Match John tying the knot at WrestleMania 34. What angle WWE would shoot to accommodate a wedding between the two on "The Grandest Stage Of Them All" is anyone's guess, but lord knows Vince McMahon loves a good televised wedding ceremony. What Bella and McMahon envision for the special occasion is likely very different though.
Bella revealed that she would quite like to marry Cena at WrestleMania 34 via a Q&A session on The Bella Twins' YouTube channel. A question was fielded asking Nikki whether she would like the wedding to take place on SmackDown Live. Bella replied that as of now there were no plans to do that, but also said she wouldn't mind saying 'I do' at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans next year.
As mentioned above, WWE loves putting on a good wedding. However, the majority of them involve some sort of twist. As much as Bella would likely love to recite vows in front of a worldwide audience, it's unlikely that she will want to incorporate any crazy angles on her big day. If that is the case, Bella will want to make sure she's a part of any creative meetings surrounding the possible event as it's no secret that her husband-to-be will do almost anything in the name of WWE.
Cena's proposal to Bella at WrestleMania 33 may have been a touching moment, but it was hardly something WWE fans would have been disappointed about had it not happened. A straightforward wedding between the two is not going to be that entertaining, and it probably won't be well received if it's taking time away from other Superstars at WrestleMania 33. A segment on SmackDown Live might be a better option as a Wrestlemania moment without an angle seems highly unlikely.
