In order to join season 25 of Dancing with the Stars, WWE star Nikki Bella will be temporarily stepping away from wrestling.

Nikki shared the news on Twitter after the WWE made their announcement.

This season's cast announcement was made on Wednesday's Good Morning America. Bella will partner with professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev, who is also making his first appearance on Dancing with the Stars. It sounds like Nikki is ready to put some wrestling moves on Artem who says she hasn't given him a Bella Buster yet.

"I try to fight him every rehearsal," Nikki joked.

If you want to watch Nikki dance, the new season of DWTS will debut on Sept. 18, 2017, at 8/7 C on ABC.

Other stars that will appear on the show this fall are former NFL star wide receiver Terrell Owens, Barbara Corcoran of “Shark Tank,” actor Frankie Muniz, and married entertainment personalities Nick and Vanessa Lachey. Other WWE stars that have competed on Dancing with the Stars in the past include Chris Jericho in seasons 11 and 12 and Stacy Keibler who was in season two.

Nikki recently announced that she will also be returning to ring soon as she continues to rehab from neck surgery. But she will never be a full-time wrestler again since her doctors have told her that she should never wrestle again.

One thing is for sure, it sounds like Nikki wouldn't mind facing off against UFC star Ronda Rousey who looks poised to the join the WWE. She recently told TMZ to bring her on.

"I'd love to fight against her ... or with her," said Nikki.

We could see Rousey in the ring with Nikki sometime in the near future since WWE executive Triple H has made it clear that Rousey will get a shot if she wants it.

WWE owner Vince McMahon also commented on Nikki joining DWTS by posting a message on Twitter.
