The ratings for round eleven of the Wednesday Night War are in and it turns out the same number of people were watching both NXT and Dynamite.

It feels as if we have been waiting for the ratings results of the Wednesday Night War for a lot longer than eleven weeks. That is not the case though, and prior to this Wednesday, Dynamite has a commanding lead over NXT. AEW's weekly show has been watched live by more people than have watched NXT for eight of the previous ten weeks.

Those two NXT wins came back to back around Survivor Series when Triple H called on the power of Raw and SmackDown to help him out. However, with Survivor Series firmly in the rearview mirror, Dynamite regained the lead last week. This week's result would be an interesting one as both shows try to build to big episodes next week.

Seems as if the rest of the fanbase is just as torn over which show to watch live as we are. That's because both shows were watched by the exact same number of people, rounded to the nearest thousand. 778,000 to be exact, and without delving deeper to press for the exact figures, week eleven will forever be considered as a draw.

So everybody wins! Or everybody loses, depending on how you look at it. Both shows being watched by the same number of people is actually really handy. As mentioned above, both Dynamite and NXT are putting on blockbuster episodes next week as they turn the corner to Christmas. Since both shows were watched by 778,000 people each, next week's ratings will show us which company is better at building anticipation.

As for what each show has planned for next week, Shayna Baszler and Adam Cole will be defending their titles on NXT. Meanwhile, The Young Bucks will get a Tag Team Title shot and Chris Jericho will take on Jungle Boy in Le Champion's last match of 2019. The following week, Wednesday will land on Christmas Day so no live shows. Then the week after that, both Dynamite and NXT will return on New Year's Day.
