It seems that following their brutal Ladder match at TLC this past weekend The Miz and Dolph Ziggler's Match of the Year standard feud is over. This leaves The Miz without a challenger for his Intercontinental Championship moving forward, but a Perfect NXT Superstar may have stepped up.
Following an innocent tweet from a fan about who Tye Dillinger would like to face in WWE, it seems the duo have managed to turn it into an actual challenge for a match.
Tye and Miz exchanged a few Tweets that actually got personal with The Miz asking if 'The Perfect 10' was because Tye had spent ten years in developmental.
The Miz ended the exchange by telling Tye to talk to SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan because he seems to be giving away undeserved title shots.
Could this be an inventive way to securing Tye's place on the main roster? Technically there is nothing left for him on NXT and the blue brand would definitely welcome someone of his calibre right now. It will be interesting to see if this is mentioned next week on SmackDown Live.
