The Royal Rumble is right around the corner and the rumours have already begun. When it comes to who WWE expects to participate in the epic 30th Anniversary battle royale, anything is possible.
Samoa Joe was once rumoured to have been the biggest NXT addition to the event, but it seems that WWE has instead looked towards another NXT star.
Following his loss back at NXT TakeOver: Toronto and his recent loss in the Fatal Four-Way match to name the new Number One Contender to the NXT Championship, it seems that Tye Dillinger has reached the point where he has nothing left to prove in NXT.
Recent reports suggest that Dillinger could be brought into the Rumble at number 10 because WWE is hoping that the '10' chant could be the new 'Yes' or even 'What?'
It will be interesting to see where Dillinger fits into the main roster picture, especially given his recent back and forth with The Miz on Twitter. Of course, this could be a one-off appearance for Dillinger.
