WWE has a couple of problems right now when it comes to 205 Live. One of them is getting eyeballs on the product and getting a large chunk of fans interested in watching their cruiserweights. They have begun to turn fans' heads with the inclusion of Enzo Amore on the show, but the second problem they have has counteracted that improvement. The other problem is Superstars walking out on the cruiserweight division. Austin Aries was the first man to do so earlier this year and now Neville has been absent for a few weeks with it looking more and more likely that he will not be returning. It seems that some Superstars aren't happy with being stuck in the cruiserweight division. Apparently, more wrestlers are about to be added, likely from NXT, and WWE will have to choose very wisely. Here are five men from NXT that could improve the current 205 Live roster.
Oney Lorcan is an extremely popular man at Full Sail. A fan favorite and a Superstar who made a name for himself under the moniker Biff Busick before he ever stepped foot in a WWE ring. Despite his popularity, WWE hasn't done a whole lot with Lorcan while he's been in NXT. The brawler is currently embroiled in a storyline involving British star Danny Burch, although that doesn't seem to be going anywhere as of late. In terms of making him a cruiserweight, Lorcan already has some experience. Lorcan has actually appeared on 205 Live once before where he battled Rich Swann and has also had a match against Kalisto on SmackDown Live.

The main man being quoted as a part of the rumored call-ups from NXT to 205 Live is Hideo Itami. When the Japanese Superstar, formerly known as Kenta, was first signed by WWE all the way back in 2014, there was lots of hype. Itami was seen as just as big a coup by NXT as the likes of Finn Balor and Kevin Owens. Unfortunately for Hideo, his time in the United States has been ravaged by injury. There is no question that he would be on the main roster by now had he not been sidelined for so long. Well, now it would seem WWE is keen to have Itami become a cruiserweight. Itami would undoubtedly add a new dimension to the company's purple brand.

One man who has been absent from NXT for a while now is Tommaso Ciampa. In fact, Ciampa's last match was at NXT Takeover: Chicago when he turned on his real-life best friend, Johnny Gargano. Tommasso had to undergo surgery on his knee and it's estimated that he will not be ready to return to in-ring action until March of next year. Nevertheless, this man should be considered for a spot on 205 Live. In fact considering where Ciampa left off and the length of his rehab, it's almost a guarantee that when he's reintroduced it will be a part of the cruiserweight division. Why that is exactly will become clearer with the next entry.
So, by the time Tomasso Ciampa returns to WWE next March, the man he will have a built-in rivalry with is the aforementioned Johnny Gargano. The pair made up the tag team DIY and because of Tommasso's injury, they haven't had a chance to pay off Ciampa being responsible for the pair's split. Trouble is with Gargano fully fit and twiddling his thumbs somewhat in NXT, it's hard to imagine that he won't be on 205 Live by the time March rolls around. It seems like an obvious move and would be crazy to have Johnny Wrestling go without Ciampa arriving there so the two can finally battle it out. By the time WrestleMania is here fully expect both Gargano and Ciampa to be a part of WWE's cruiserweight division.
What WWE has planned for their new United Kingdom division is still unclear. As of right now, all their British talent is doing is occasionally performing on NXT as well as padding out the company's UK tours. Thankfully, they're still allowed to work elsewhere, but one man you have to imagine is full-time bound for WWE is Pete Dunne. The perfect place for him right now? 205 Live. The Bruiserweight as a cruiserweight. There is no one better suited to showing up and shutting up Enzo Amore than the current United Kingdom Champion. His in-ring ability and overall demeanor would bring something to 205 Live that the brand doesn't currently have. If Dunne does end up there, hopefully, he won't stay there for his whole time with the company.
