Former NXT Tag Team Champion Marries Tough Enough Winner

It turns out that former NXT star and Tough Enough winner Sara Lee ended up marrying her boyfriend, NXT star Wesley Blake, on Saturday in Titusville, Florida, according to eWrestlingNews.com.

Lee and Blake recently gave birth to their daughter Piper on May 1,  2017. Now they've really made things official when it comes to being a family.

After winning Tough Enough, the 25-year-old Lee landed a one year, $250,000 contract with WWE. She then trained at the WWE Performance Center, prior to being released from her contract in 2016. Since then, Lee has been working on the indie circuit and has been training at Team Vision Dojo in Orlando, Florida.

Lee is still very young and could develop into a very successful wrestler. It's going to also be interesting to see whether or not being married with a child will affect her wrestling career. We imagine that at some point, Lee could end up with a company like Impact Wrestling, who's always losing talent left and right to bigger companies like WWE.

When it comes to Lee's new husband, Blake, the 30-year-old has been with NXT since 2013 and has most recently been a part of a tag-team with Steve Cutler.

In the past, Blake won the NXT Tag-Team Championship with Buddy Murphy after starting his career with Funking Conservatory in 2011 and then leaving in 2013 for NXT. At one point, he earned the FC European ChampionshipFC Florida Heavyweight Championship, and FC Heavyweight Championship.

When it comes to Blake, you have to wonder if he'll ever make it to the big stage with WWE after now being with NXT for almost five years. His momentum has slowed significantly after the break up of his team with Murphy and Alexa Bliss. Maybe a reunion could be in the works, but we doubt it considering the success Bliss has enjoyed as a solo act.
