Over the course of 2015, New Day went from being a generally unpopular and irrelevant tag team to one of the best in WWE. Their popularity has continued to grow into 2016 until now. In fact, their popularity has grown so much that they rarely receive boos anymore. This is almost forcing the WWE to turn the team face, even though they've excelled as heels over the past few months. However, turning the team face draws uncertainty that it will do the group justice. By default, most WWE fans were going to side with New Day over The League of Nations. So, New Day may very well excel in the feud with The League of Nations, but will it roll over into other feuds with other heels?

We've been contemplating what this team would benefit the most from. As faces, the crowd might get more behind them, but they could grow stale . As heels, they may run out of opponents and would get cheered during most tag feuds anyway. So then, could New Day play both faces and heels?

The idea really is a seed from Brock Lesnar's role in the WWE. Brock Lesnar's character was more of a heel in the build up for the triple threat match against Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose at Fastlane and he's playing a similar role right now in the build up to WrestleMania 32 with Dean Ambrose. Though, he also played the face role against The Wyatt Family at the WWE Network special Roadblock and he also played face against Seth Rollins. Brock Lesnar seems to play the role based on who his opponent is, which is a terrific idea.

Could this work for New Day? Could they base their actions on the crowd reaction they receive or the opponents they are facing? This gives WWE creative plenty of flexibility because New Day would be able to feud with any team, face or heel. This is something that we don't see all that often and this would work very well for a team like New Day, who can easily come off as extremely entertaining or extremely annoying.

So, what do you think? Do you like this idea? What would you suggest?
