In a scary moment that is making the rounds on social media, Paige appears to have been seriously hurt during a WWE Live Event at Uniondale, New York. Multiple witness accounts have come in that say the match between Absolution and Sasha Banks, Mickie James and Bayley was stopped and did not continue after Paige went down from a Sasha Banks kick and did not get up. A stretcher was brought to the ring but Paige was able to make it to the back with the assistance of a referee.
The immediate concern is that Paige has reinjured her neck. Paige is only a year and change removed from major neck surgery. Video of the referees checking on Paige and her fellow wrestlers being concerned for her health can be seen below.

The potential injury took place after Paige took a kick from Sasha when Paige’s back was turned. In what looks to be a very freak accident, the kick may have landed far too stiffly and Paige may have injured her shoulder or neck. The hope is that if there is an injury of any severity, it is the shoulder which likely wouldn’t be career threatening.
Other Twitter users have made comments like, “The injury was a shoot and not part of the show” or “Paige left the ring with no stretcher but with doctors help. Might have been a shoulder injury. Thankfully she didn’t need the stretcher.”

As the WWE learns more, they will likely make an official announcement on their website or social media accounts.
If Paige is hurt for any length of time it would be a shame for both she and her faction as they were one of the hottest groups on the Raw roster of late, and it appeared Paige was being groomed for a feud with Asuka.
