The WWE Twitterverse was abuzz after it was announced that WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne would face off against Bullet Club member “The Villain” Marty Scurll at the Icons event on April 29.

Dunne also hyped the event, tweeting “First time ever…”

His signature moves include the European uppercut, the Triangle Choke, the 'Ave it!, a mid-air forearm smash, and the rolling release suplex Crash Landing.

Scurll, another Brit and former co-host of Wrestle Talk TV on Challenge, was the British Cruiserweight champion in 2012. In October he won a triple threat match against Joe Hendry and Will Ospreay at WCPW Refuse to Lose, becoming the sixth and final WCPW champion.

In November, he defeated Ospreay again, becoming the new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, however in January, he lost the title to Ospreay at Wrestle Kingdom 12 in a four-way face-off that included Hiromu Takahashi and Kushida.

Among his signature moves, Scurll is known for the missile dropkick, the Falcon arrow, and the brainbuster on the knee Ghostbuster.

Yesterday, Scurll taunted WWE Hall of Famer, Mick Foley, on Twitter after Foley stated "I don't think I could do any cool moves out there," writing "You never did any cool moves. Legends support legends.”

According to Wrestle Talk, Dunne and Scurll are “two of the most electrifying and gifted technical performers on the planet.” The pair were recently photographed by Michael Watson for a collection of portraits of the world's top wrestlers.

According to Watson, his shot of Dunne is one of his favorites. “Pete Dunne's was taken in Orlando. I love the photo, it's perfect, but I was basically sitting in a urinal to take it because the bathroom was the only spot I could find with a good wall!”
