WWE have come to terms with the release of Tough Enough winner Sara Lee over the weekend. The winner of the Network version of the popular show has only made one appearance for NXT since winning her $250,000 contract and didn't seem to be adapting to the wrestling lifestyle very well.
Runner-up Mandy Rose has already made various appearances for NXT and was given a recurring role on E! Network show Total Divas earlier this year. It is thought that she is the one that WWE officials wanted to win the show, but the public ultimately had the final say.
Sara's release comes merely days after she announced that she was expecting her first child with former NXT Tag Team Champion Wesley Blake. The Wrestling Observer also reported that this was the reasons she was released from the company.
Fellow NXT Superstar Hugo Knox was also released from WWE on Saturday after requesting his release from the company. It is thought that there could be many other releases on the way.
