In the wrestling industry, it's not uncommon to see athletes dating each other. A majority of wrestling couples start with the pair working in the same company. However, sometimes wrestlers and their significant others may end up working for different promotions.

While working for different places seems like it'd take a toll on a relationship, there are plenty of couples who prove that theory wrong. These pairs know how important wrestling is and how they want their partner to be happy, no matter where they work. 10 Cedric Alexander & Big Swole

Cedric Alexander and Big Swole have been together for a few years now. The couple married in June 2018 and are parents to a daughter named Adessah. Between being hands-on parents and wrestling, these two have busy lives. Their wrestling careers have had the two work for different companies. Alexander worked for ROH for six years before joining WWE in 2016. As for Swole, she worked for women's wrestling promotions such as Shine. Despite being participant for the 2018 Mae Young Classic, Swole never received a contract from WWE. Currently, she's signed to the competitor AEW.

9 Madison Rayne & Josh Matthews

Madison Rayne met her husband, former WWE interviewer Josh Matthews, when he joined Impact Wrestling. Sparks flew between the Knockouts Champion and Impact's newest commentator. The couple married in August 2015, and Josh adjusted to his role as stepdad to Madison's daughter. In the summer of 2017, Rayne decided to leave Impact to try out for WWE. She would be one of the competitors in the second Mae Young Classic, but was eliminated early. She would then go on to work briefly in ROH before returning to Impact to be with her husband.

8 Zack Ryder & Chelsea Green

Chelsea Green was part of a huge romance storyline for Impact Wrestling when she began dating WWE star Zack Ryder in January 2017. While Green's onscreen romance with Braxton Sutter went combust, her relationship with Ryder was growing strong.

After being released from Impact in 2018, Green once again tried out for WWE. Years earlier she was a contestant on Tough Enough, but was eliminated halfway through the competition. This time Green had more success and was signed to NXT. A few months later she was celebrating another big moment when she and Zack became engaged.

7 Will Ospreay & Bea Priestley

Will Ospreay and Bea Priestley are two of the hottest rising stars in the wrestling world. The pair have been together since 2017, and as their careers continue to grow, they're traveling all over the world. Ospreay is currently one of NJPW's biggest talents and was recently crowned the British Heavyweight Champion.

As for Priestley, she's busy at the moment asserting herself as the next challenger for AEW's Women's Championship. She also makes trips to Japan to see her boyfriend, and compete in World Wonder Ring Stardom, where she's one-half of the women's tag champions.

6 Petyon Royce & Shawn Spears

Peyton Royce and Shawn Spears met when they were in WWE's developmental territory NXT. Peyton and her friend Billie Kay were making waves as the tag team The IIconics, while Spears was competing under the ring name Tye Dillinger.

In February 2019, Spears grew frustrated with his standing in the company and requested his release. A few months later he made his debut in AEW. While they work for two different companies, Peyton and Shawn's relationship hasn't been affected at all. In August 2019, the couple married in an elegant, iconic ceremony.

5 Mickie James & Nick Aldis

Longtime wrestling fans know about Mickie James' love life. She had prior relationships with WWE stars Kenny Dykstra and John Cena. After experiencing heartbreak, Mickie found happiness with wrestler Nick Aldis. She and Aldis met when they were working for TNA. In September 2014, they became parents when Mickie gave birth to a son named Donovan. A year later, the two married.

Mickie would end up returning to WWE in 2016, where she's currently a commentator. As for Aldis, he eventually left TNA and is now wrestling for NWA as their World Heavyweight Champion.

4 Adam Cole & Britt Baker

Adam Cole and Britt Baker were wrestling on the indie scene when their relationship began. These days Cole and Baker are at the top of their game, in different promotions of course.

Baker is excelling in her role as AEW's newest heel, and is on the road to becoming women's champion one day. Meanwhile, Cole is tearing it up in WWE as NXT's longest-reigning champion and leader of The Undisputed Era. Cole and Baker don't let work interfere in their relationship, Baker is often seen at NXT PPVs cheering on her boyfriend.

3 John Morrison & Taya Valkyrie

John Morrison was in an on-again/off-again relationship with Melina Perez for over a decade before they split up for good in 2015. After their break up, Morrison met his new lady Taya Valkyrie. The two wrestled for Lucha Underground and later Impact. After two years of dating, they married in June 2018. Recently, Morrison returned to WWE after an eight-year absence. While Morrison has expressed interest in his wife joining him at the company, Taya seems content with her position at Impact Wrestling.

2 Jon Moxley & Renee Young

Jon Moxley and Renee Young are considered by many fans to be wrestling's current power couple. The pair met in WWE when Young was a backstage interviewer and Moxley wrestled as Dean Ambrose. When he decided to let his contract expire in April 2019, Renee was a supportive wife and encouraged Jon to do what was best for him. A month after his departure, Moxley made his debut in AEW. Even though she's still employed by WWE, Renee was there for Moxley's biggest moment when he won the AEW World Championship.

1 Bayley & Aaron Solow

Like other stars, Bayley has worked hard to achieve her success. She's gone from indie darling to one of WWE's top female athletes. Throughout her journey she's had the support from her boyfriend, wrestler Aaron Solow. While Solow may not be as big of a star as his girlfriend, he continues to make a name for himself on the independent circuit. Bayley is just as encouraging in Aaron's career as he is towards hers. Whenever she has a day off and Aaron's booked for an independent gig, Bayley is there to cheer him on.
