It has been made public, recently, that fans would be seeing less of Randy Orton on television. He announced a part time schedule, and it looks like it is beginning to take effect. The angle on Monday Night Raw involving Orton and The Wyatt Family would make you assume that he would team with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose for the upcoming Night of Champions Pay-Per-View. This is not the case. To add to that assumption, there are now three Wyatt Family members. It would just make sense. However, according to PWInsider, this will be the last we will see of Randy Orton for the foreseeable future.

According to one of their sources in the WWE Creative Department, the angle was, in fact, to write Orton off of television. He is not figured into any of the upcoming storyline plans over the next few weeks, which includes Night of Champions. This would actually set up Orton to return near the time that the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View, if indeed it is only a few weeks. This was set up for vacation time for Randy, but it is clear the part time schedule has started.
