Ranking The Top 20 Hottest Moments Of The Attitude Era

The Attitude Era brought excitement, violence, and, of course, puppies to millions of fans around the globe. It’s an era that may never be duplicated and if you did live through it, you’re one lucky son-of-a-gun. Besides all of the blood, crude humor, and reality based scenes the WWE would play out, they also showcased the hotness of beautiful women.

Starting with Sable and The Kat, the Attitude Era would end with ladies like Trish Stratus, Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson showcasing their assets to the WWE Universe. It seemed every week, every month, every year the WWE would try to top what it already had done. This made many prepubescent boys realizes what they’ll be in store for in the future as well as make those who already are men, even happier.

Sex sells and it really sold in the Attitude Era. We can’t imagine Bayley or Becky Lynch in a bra and panties match, but if they were around in that era, they would have been in one. We also know there may be a lot of raunchy stuff that may not have made it to the list, even though we kept the list between 1997 and 2002. Make sure you have a glass of water by your side and prepare to feel the hotness.

20 The Kat Versus Tori - Chocolate Pudding Match

The Kat was the Women’s Champion at the time and she was involved in the inaugural pudding match against Tori on an episode of Raw in 1999. She already came out in a smoking hot bikini, but her opponent wasn’t ready for the fight. Stephanie McMahon proceeded to tell Tori to come out in her bra and panties, which is something all the fans cheered for.

19 Trish Stratus Versus Jacqueline - Spanking Match

If you’re into that 50 Shades of Grey stuff, then this match is the one for you. At the height of the Trish Stratus and Jacqueline feud, they competed in a spanking match on an episode of Raw around the turn of the century. The match was pretty hardcore as both wrestlers smacked the hell out of each other with straps.

18 Trish Stratus & Lita Versus Torrie Wilson & Stacy Keibler - Bra And Panties Match

Many fans hated the Invasion angle after Vince McMahon bought WCW. Fans of the angle can make a point that we wouldn’t have such exciting matches like this one. With Mick Foley as the special guest referee, Trish Stratus and Lita faced Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler in a bra and panties match at Invasion in 2001. If you don’t know the rules of this match, you must strip your opponent down to their bra and panties to get the win.

17 Trish Stratus Versus Stacy Keibler - Paddle On A Pole Match

On October 10th, 2002, WWE fans got to witness one of the hottest stipulation matches ever created in the wrestling industry. It was the Bra and Panties with a Paddle on a Pole match and no, Vince Russo wasn’t with the company at that time. It also involved two of the hottest women to ever compete in a wrestling ring, Trish Stratus and Stacy Keibler.

16 The Kat Versus Terri Runnels - Stinkface Match

At SummerSlam 2000, the fans were treated to an epic Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match that revolutionized and transcended the sport. You would think that the act that had to follow would be a stinker. It was far from the stinker you’re thinking, as The Kat faced Terri Runnels in the first ever Stinkface match. Both competitors had a long history of feuding and this match would be the climax of their feud.

15 Sable Versus Luna Vachon - Evening Gown Match

We got to show some respect for the first ever evening gown match because if it wasn’t for the success of that match, we wouldn’t have all the other absurd matches that have come since. Sable and Luna Vachon rocked the house at Unforgiven 1998 when both went toe-to-toe in lingerie. Sure, Luna wasn't the most aesthetically looking Diva to come through the industry, but, Sable more than made up for it.

14 Torrie Wilson Versus Stacy Keibler - Swimsuit Competition

Who doesn’t like competition? It brings the best out of both competitors and makes an event that much better. That’s why when Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler were in a swimsuit competition, no one thought it was a bad idea. On an episode of SmackDown in May of 2002, Keibler and Wilson showed off their assets to the WWE Universe. With Tazz as the host, Wilson was first up.

13 Lita Versus Trish Stratus - Bra and Panties Match

The Golden Era of women’s wrestling wasn’t always about wrestling. Both Trish Stratus and Lita are pioneers of the industry and should be respected in every way, however, we also have to recognize that they used their sexuality to get the ratings up. In the good ol’ days of Raw, there would be some incredible matches that weren’t expected when you tuned in that Monday Night. Case in point, in October of 2000, when Lita and Stratus had a bra and panties match on Raw.

12 The Kat's Christmas Gift

On the Christmas episode of Raw in 2000, The Kat decided to treat the commentary team (Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler) to an early Christmas gift. Coming down in nothing but a red robe and a stocking cap, The Kat gave Ross a videotape of the Divas newest content, but treated King to something better. As the music played, Kat would get on the announcer table and reveal a ton of skin.

11 Torrie Wilson Versus Stacy Keibler - Lingerie Match

Maybe the greatest thing to ever come out of the WCW/WWE merger was these two beautiful and legendary Divas. Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler could make the hardest personalities melt in their hand, that’s how beautiful they are. Keibler has the stunning long legs and Wilson’s frame is to die for. When the company decided to have a lingerie match between Wilson and Keibler at No Mercy 2001, the fans acted as if they received an early birthday present.

10 Torrie Wilson Versus Dawn Marie - Lingerie Showdown

Torrie Wilson and Dawn Marie have been in some tantalizing vignettes and scenes, but one of the best is from an episode of SmackDown in October of 2002. With Tazz as the host, he first introduced Torrie Wilson. She would come out in a white robe while sucking on red liquorice. Marie would come down in a black robe and the stage would be set.

9 Stacy Keibler Becomes Vince McMahon's Assistant

Mr. McMahon is such a boss. You can hate him all you want, but we both know you would gladly take his spot for a day. Vince has never been shy to interject himself into storylines, particularly those dealing with steamy moments. On an episode of SmackDown in April of 2002, Vince was looking to hire an assistant.

8 Debra's Sultry Striptease

It was a cold winter night on December 13th, 1998, in Vancouver, British Columbia but things were heating up inside the General Motors Place when Debra, the valet of Jeff Jarrett, had to strip in front of thousands of fans. It all started in a feud between Goldust and Jarrett when both competitors decided that if Goldust lost, he would have to strip, and if Jarrett lost, Debra would do the dirty deed.

7 Trish Stratus and Her Love For Tables

In 2000, Test and Albert were in a feud with The Dudley Boyz that culminated at Backlash with Stratus getting power bombed through a table. At the time, Trish was the manager of T&A. Leading up to the contest, Trish would film erotic vignettes that included tables. She would be caressing them all the while telling the audience what type of tables there are in the world.

6 The Preacher's Wife: A Film By Val Venis

If you know who Val Venis is, then you know this film is for adults only. In September of 1998, Venis and Dustin Runnels (Goldust) were in a heated feud. Dustin decided to get rid of his Goldust act and become a preacher of God. Val didn’t like his preaching about the steamy vignettes and acts he participated in, so he decided to make a film that he knew would upset Dustin.

5 Trish Stratus Being A Bad Girl

During the Trish Stratus and Vince McMahon storyline, Trish wanted to gain the attention of her boss. While Vince was upset that Trish was going to be in the corner of Kurt Angle during an episode of SmackDown, Trish decided to tell the boss that she’d been very bad. She was so bad, she asked Vince for a spanking. As soon as she said that, the crowd went wild and so did Vince.

4 Jacqueline's Wardrobe Malfunction

In December of 1998, the WWE decided to have a UK-only PPV called Capital Carnage. The fans got to witness legends like Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Mick Foley, The Undertaker, and Triple H work their craft, however, nothing they did was as memorable as what happened with Jacqueline.

3 Real-Life Mardi Gras

It’s one thing for the WWE to have their employees tease the audience with sensual and titillating scenes, however, it’s a whole other ball game when you can get women in the crowd to act like it's Mardi Gras. During the Attitude Era, nothing seemed off limits and, on one particular night, Triple H enticed a beautiful blonde to bear it all.

2 The Kat's Impromptu Strip

Stacy "The Kat" Carter may have won the Women’s Title in a Four-Way Evening Gown Pool match at Armageddon 1999, but her actions after the match will be what lives on in infamy. The contestants involved were Ivory, Jacqueline, B.B. and Carter with legends Mae Young and Fabulous Moolah as special guest referees. To win the match, the contestant had to keep their evening gown dress on while tearing off the clothes of their opponents.

1 Sable's Bikini Outfit

Once again, the WWE and Sable shattered the glass ceiling on what was allowed in the wrestling industry. At Fully Loaded 1998, Sable entered a bikini contest with Hall of Famer Jacqueline in a bikini contest. The feud started when Marc Mero and Jacqueline started working together in an effort to hurt Sable. Sable, once the valet of Mero, didn’t like all the trash talking she was receiving from the duo.

Leading up to contest, Sable could get the fan's blood boiling, however, she took it to another level that night. Jacqueline would come out in a red erotic swimsuit, revealing a lot of skin. It was as if she was wearing dental floss, however, Sable one-upped her, wearing paint in the shape of hands on her chest. Rightfully so, the crowd and Jerry Lawler went into a frenzy.
