Mr. McMahon and Stephanie come out while a number of WWE Superstars stand atop the stage. The McMahon's discuss Roman Reigns and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship; pointing out that one of the men standing in front of them will be the next title holder. Vince and Stephanie point out who may be the next champion before an interruption occurs from The Wyatt Family. Bray Wyatt reiterates his point of: "anyone but you, Roman." This all leads to Reigns making his way through the crowd and addressing the situation. Reigns asks: "what happens if I win?" Stephanie laughs before a One-Versus-All match is announced.

Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus

Solid match with a good length. When the fight was taken outside, both men were counted out.

Post-Match: Kevin Owens attacks Dean Ambrose.

Backstage: Vince and Stephanie McMahon bump into Paul Heyman who suggests that the winner of the Royal Rumble face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. Vince declines as the conversation is taken into the office.

Stardust vs. Titus O'Neil

Bland match ... Titus O'Neil wins.

-Highlight Reel with The New Day-

Chris Jericho talks about "saving the WWE." The New Day attempt to "shame" Jericho before The Usos arrive and a match is made.

The Usos w/Chris Jericho vs. Kofi Kingston and Big E w/Xavier Woods

Good match which once again provided hope for the future of the tag team division. The Usos score the victory.

Backstage: Stephanie McMahon and Paul Heyman continue to discuss the potential of the Royal Rumble winner versus Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. However, Stephanie states that Lesnar will compete in the Rumble match.

-Sting is announced as the first inductee of the Hall of Fame Class of 2016-

The Wyatt Family vs. Social Outcasts

Not much of a match as Ryback decided to intervene rendering this bout a toss away.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Kalisto (United States Championship)

Strong effort put forth by both Superstars as this quick-paced match would see Kalisto become the NEW United States Champion.

Backstage: JoJo interviews Charlotte about the Becky Lynch situation. Another WOOO! from Ric Flair to end the segment.

Charlotte vs. Brie Bella

Becky Lynch attacks Charlotte prior to the bell. This leads to Ric Flair stating that Charlotte is in no condition to compete. No match.

Backstage: JoJo interviews Becky Lynch who is fired up about her lost friendship with Charlotte.

Roman Reigns in a One-Versus-All Match

Kevin Owens begins this encounter against Roman Reigns and takes the fight to the champion. Eventually, all hell breaks loose and hear comes "The Beast." Brock Lesnar cleans house before delivering an F5 to Reigns.

Going Forward

The WWE World Heavyweight Championship should definitely change hands at the Royal Rumble. Roman Reigns will obviously come out looking strong and will most likely last until the end of the match but a new champion should emerge.

If WWE decides to have Reigns win the Rumble and retain, it would be a designed storyline to legitimize Reigns. However, will the fans buy and stand behind said victory? Probably not.

Will Brock Lesnar win the Royal Rumble? "The Beast" has to be considered the favourite.
