Recap

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman open the program ... Heyman speaks about The Wyatt Family; claiming that their "conspiracy" failed and that Lesnar will eventually even the score with the Wyatt's ... Heyman then moves on to Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose; stating that both will be "imprisoned" into "Suplex City" before Lesnar moves on to once again claim the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Out comes Ambrose to prove that he is not intimidated. Ambrose asks Lesnar to take him to "Suplex City" before walking out with his head held high.

Kalisto vs. Rusev

Contrasting styles here: Kalisto pulls a fast one, picking up a count out victory when Rusev is tossed with a Hurricanrana on the outside.

Backstage: Stephanie McMahon taunts Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, which is on display in her office.

Backstage Again: Brie Bella provided and update of Nikki before Charlotte interrupts with some condescending "well wishes."

The Usos vs. Heath Slater and Curtis Axel

What can you say here? The Usos looked good in victory. The Social Outcasts looked like a joke.

-Miz TV with A.J. Styles-

The Miz puts A.J. Styles over; touting his accomplishments over the years before comparing Styles to Daniel Bryan. Miz states that he wants to "mentor" Styles in the same manner he "mentored" Bryan. Miz then asks the fans if they think a "rookie redneck" can make it in WWE? This leads to Styles attacking Miz; causing the Miz to take off running.

Charlotte vs. Brie Bella

Brie Bella steals some cheap pops once again by using her husband's signature kicks and steals a victory with a roll up pin on Charlotte. (Must be Total Divas season.)

Erick Rowan vs. Big Show

Why? ... Big Show wins with a Choke Slam ... Why?

Post-Match: Braun Strowman and Big Show stare down before Show receives a beat down. Strowman vs. Show = Boredom beyond repair.

Titus O'Neil vs. Tyler Breeze

So long Tyler Breeze; you were never given a chance. Titus O'Neil wins with dominance.

Backstage: Triple H approaches Brock Lesnar. "The Game" asks "The Beast" if "things are getting soft in Suplex City." Lesnar replies with "we'll see at WrestleMania." (Yes, Lesnar actually spoke.)

Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens

Finally something for the fans: another great bout between Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler with "The Show Off" picking up a much needed victory. (Match of the night.)

Pre-Match: Sasha Banks announces that she is "on her own" as she will no longer "sit in the back." Naomi and Tamina come out to confront their former teammate as it would appear as though a mutual split of Team BAD has occurred.

Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch

Refreshing match which ended with Naomi and Tamina attacking Sasha Banks. (No amicable split after all.)

Post-Match: Becky Lynch helps Sasha Banks fend off Naomi and Tamina.

Backstage: Renee Young interviews Chris Jericho. Y2J discusses his loss last week to A.J. Styles.

Remaining Backstage: Goldust approaches R-Truth to be his tag team partner. (Obviously a play on the old Goldust/Booker T tag team.)

The New Day vs. Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose

**Paul Heyman sits in on commentary** (Great stuff.)

Aggressive contest with an obvious outcome: Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose score the victory with an Ambrose pinfall.

Post-Match: Here Comes the Pain! (Brock Lesnar Throwback.) ... "The Beast" nails Dean Ambrose with an F5 to close the show.

Going Forward

Brie Bella should not have a title program with Charlotte strictly as a piggyback storyline from Nikki's injury.

Who wants Braun Strowman pushed backstage? Strowman should be Bray Wyatt's monster; nothing more, nothing less.

The money match at WrestleMania would place Triple H against Brock Lesnar. However, the Triple H/Roman Reigns feud has yet to conclude which means Reigns will find his way into the main event.
