Recap

Shane McMahon (still in-charge) is out first tonight: The Boy Wonder is quickly interrupted by his sister, Stephanie, who informs Shane that this will be his final night running RAW as Vince McMahon will decide this Sunday who will take charge of the program. Shane then politely asks his sister to leave the ring. When Stephanie refuses, Shane has security escort Stephanie away.

AJ Styles vs. Sheamus

Sheamus is lacking something these days as the interest level has faded. Meanwhile, the new "kid" AJ Styles looked impressive in victory.

The New Day are out to cut a promo but are cut-off by The Vaudevillians and of course Enzo Amore and Colin Cassidy. The three teams state their claims and The New Day dances away the segment.

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows vs. The Usos

The highly anticipated debut of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows (Gallows was previous employed by WWE) would prove successful as the duo scored the victory.

Post-Match: Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows assault The Usos which brings out Roman Reigns to the aid of his cousins.

Backstage: Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows approach AJ Styles; informing their friend that they "have his back."

Sami Zayn vs. Rusev

Sami Zayn looked great in this bout. Meanwhile, the most exciting thing about Rusev is Lana. Zayn scores the roll-up pinfall.

Post-Match: Kevin Owens lays out Sami Zayn.

Apollo Crews vs. Stardust

Apollo Crews makes rather short work of Stardust in this bout.

Dean Ambrose is out to address Chris Jericho; calling out Y2J. Jericho arrives and explains that being in the ring with him places Ambrose on a "different level." Jericho then demands an apology from Ambrose. This leads to an attack from Ambrose. However, Jericho turns it around before placing Ambrose in the Walls of Jericho atop the announce table.

Natalya vs. Emma

The fans want Sasha (how come nobody backstage can hear these chants?) Anyway, Emma taps to the Sharpshooter.

-WWE actually runs a video tribute to Chyna-

Baron Corbin vs. Damien Sandown

This match never gets going as Dolph Ziggler attacks Baron Corbin.

The Miz and Maryse are out to boast about the greatness of The Miz while putting down the "internet trolls" and Cesaro. This brings out Cesaro who informs The Miz that his time as the Intercontinental Champion is coming to an end. The Miz attempts a cheap-shot but catches a big upper-cut.

Backstage: AJ Styles approaches Roman Reigns. Styles informs Reigns that at Payback he will be "taking the title."

Roman Reigns vs. Alberto Del Rio

The crowd was split on Roman Reigns throughout the main event. In fact, a faint "let's go, Roman ... Roman sucks!" chant akin to John Cena was heard at one point. As Reigns prepared to put Alberto Del Rio away, out came Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. However, their distraction would prove nothing as Reigns picked up the victory.

Post-Match: Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows would attack Roman Reigns. However, AJ Styles would intervene and call off the attack; only to receive a Superman Punch from Reigns. Reigns would then turn his attention to Anderson and Gallows. The show would conclude with Reigns taking a Phenomenal Forearm from Styles.

Going Forward

Who will Vince McMahon choose to control Monday Night Raw? The first-born son or the entitled daughter? This is Vince McMahon, so there is bound to b some sort of "twist" involved with this decision.

The fans love Shane-O Mac while they despise Stephanie and The Authority. The typical Good vs. Evil scenario is at play here. Who will emerge? All signs point to some sort of epic showdown somewhere down the line.

Perhaps a match will take place between Triple H and Shane McMahon will control of Monday Night Raw on the line?
