Raw Recap (12/14/2015)

via bleacherreport.com

Stephanie McMahon comes out to address the attack Triple H suffered last night at the hands of Roman Reigns. Stephanie is soon joined in the ring by Reigns himself who explains how he enjoyed what he did to Triple H. Reigns calls the entire McMahon family a disgrace before receiving a number of slaps across the face from Stephanie and is informed that Vince McMahon is one his way to the arena. (Will Reigns get fired?)

Dolph Ziggler vs. Dean Ambrose

Good opening bout between two of the best mid-card wrestlers in WWE which would end when the best wrestler in WWE (Kevin Owens) interfered.

It was nice to finally see a different side of Roman Reigns at TLC. Will this aggression translate into a character shift?

-Awesome backstage promo from the four ECW Originals (Raw is live in Philadelphia) which included old footage from the promotion-

R-Truth vs. Bo Dallas

Vince McMahon arrives backstage a few seconds into this match; makes his way down to the ring and promptly cancels the bout.

McMahon comes face-to-face with Roman Reigns and demands and apology; a hands-and-knees apology. McMahon then claims that he will beat an apology out of Reigns but before things can get physical, Sheamus interrupts to score some brownie points; asking McMahon if he can challenge Reigns on Raw. Reigns has the audacity to call into question the legendary McMahon "grapefruits." McMahon makes the match official with the added stipulation that should Reigns not become WWE World Heavyweight Champion, he will be fired. McMahon then kicks Reigns below the belt and leaves with "The Celtic Warrior."

Ryback and Jack Swagger vs. Rusev and Alberto Del Rio

Nothing fancy here; Rusev scores the pinfall with a Super Kick.

Tyler Breeze vs. Neville

NXT finding its place on Monday Night Raw. Strong match which would see Neville score the victory. (Miz sat ringside "directing" this match)

-The Wyatt Family cut a rebuttal promo and claim they will bury the ECW crew in the same city in which they were born-

Team ECW vs. The Wyatt Family (Extreme Rules)

Not quite the violence of ECW in the '90s but a nice dose of Extreme added to the night. The Wyatt Family would defeat Philadelphia favourites.

-The New Day call out The Usos and Lucha Dragons for a truce and the three teams exchange hand shakes. However, as The New Day begin to dance, The Usos and Lucha Dragons decide to take out the trio-

Charlotte and Becky Lynch vs. Brie Bella and Alicia Fox

Not much of a match here: Team BAD sat on the front row and the crowd wanted Sasha. Becky Lynch forces Alicia Fox to tap out.

Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns (WWE World Heavyweight Championship)

Against all odds, Roman Reigns becomes the NEW WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

It was nice to see a different side of Roman Reigns finally shine through at TLC. The aggression towards Triple H was unexpected but welcomed.

Roman Reigns winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tonight was also unexpected. Will this all work out in the end?

Vince McMahon seems out of place on his own program. Better years are behind.

Raw needs to be two hours.

Give Sasha a chance!
