On the go-home Raw to WrestleMania 36, Raw opened with a wonderful promo by The Undertaker and had other interesting moments as well.

Taking a closer look at Monday's taped episode of Raw, we'll examine the winners and losers from the show, focusing almost entirely on the final chance WWE had to build matches for WrestleMania 36 with their Raw-brand Superstars.

Here are your winners and losers from Raw on Monday:

Winner: Undertaker

This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw kicked off with The Undertaker giving fans a different promo than the traditional Deadman promo that limits what he can say. No, in this promo, Undertaker took his cues from "Allen" (AJ Styles aka Allen Jones) and got personal.

WWE smartly avoided shooting the promo from an empty WWE Performance Center and offered more dialogue than Undertaker has given during a speech in years. He referenced Styles lack of desire to join WWE when he could have years ago, trying to avoid some of the greats of when WWE was at its peak. Taker name-dropped some of the best names in the business.

We've been hinting at a new character direction for The Undertaker in recent days and this promo appeared like those rumors may be true. He'll still be The Deadman, but he seems to be moving away from The Undertaker character everyone knows. Will that Taker show up at WrestleMania in the Boneyard Match?

Loser: Bobby Lashley

Aleister Black and Bobby Lashley have a match at WrestleMania 36 in less than a week and we haven’t seen or heard from Lashley on RAW in ages. That's not a good sign when it comes to betting on Lashley getting the win here.

Obviously he was in the building at the time of Black's match so why not use him? The reason has to be that WWE has nothing invested in him winning and is only focused on Black. He's getting the wins here he'll likely get another one when he steps into the ring with a Superstar who should be getting a lot more attention than he's getting.

Winner: Austin Theory

Theory's opportunity is coming at the expense of Andrade who WWE confirmed was injured last week during Raw, but it's a big opportunity all the same. There's no bigger weekend for Theory to show his stuff and while it's not a normal WrestleMania, that Theory is going to get his first WrestleMania under his belt must feel pretty good.

Just a side note... it was pretty cool to hear how vocal Kevin Owens was during the match. You don't always get to hear all the chatter with a live crowd. Owens is among the best at trash-talking his opponents during their matches.

Winner: Edge Promo

I hope the WWE roster was watching the promo Edge delivered during Raw on Monday. It was one of the best behind-the-curtain promos in a long, long time. Talking about grit and determination, Edge said, "We're all junkies for this. If you're not a junkie, you're just taking up space, you're in my way."

Between Orton's promo last week and Edge's this week, both competitors really have made it apparent they should be the main event at this year's Showcase of the Immortals. As Bully Ray said on Twitter, "Edge promo... Game. Set. Match."

Loser: No Lesnar And McIntyre Confrontation

Outside of Shayna Baszler and Becky Lynch, there was no confrontation for wrestlers in the main events of these matches. Now, that could be because WWE is limiting contact as much as possible and not forcing it if not needed, but that felt like an opportunity missed.

Heyman, as always, was good and this was a simple way to move forward, but considering Drew McIntyre's promo video for BT Sport that came out this week, it would have been nice to have a contrasting promo for Lesnar to build that match. This was more of the same.
