When WWE superstars travel the roads of America for more than 300 days a year, it makes sense that they would end up dating other WWE superstars, since a home life isn't easy with that schedule. However, when WWE decides to bring that relationship to the big screen, strange things can happen.

Sometimes, that relationship can play out with the couple teaming together. Other times, WWE tries to do something risque by taking the idea of the dating couple being public knowledge and has the two feud. There are even times where two wrestlers feuding ended up in a relationship later in real-life.

10 CHRIS CANDIDO AND SUNNY

Chris Candido and Tammy "Sunny" Sytch began dating when he was in high school, and they remained a couple until his death, although it was not always a relationship where Sunny remained loyal. The two usually spent much of their time working together, including WWE.

In WWE, Sunny introduced her tag team known as The Bodydonnas, which was Candido as Skip and Tom Pritchard as Zip. However, when the Bodydonnas lost the tag team titles to the Godwinns, she left betrayed them and started managing the Godwinns instead, with the Bodydonnas searching for a new manager.

9 DUSTIN RHODES AND MARLENA

When Goldust debuted in WWE, he was managed by a glamorous woman in gold named Marlena. The entire gimmick was seeing the two of them like classic Hollywood royalty, except with Goldust androgynous and Marlena as his manager. In real life, the two were married.

However, this is a case where the real-life couple feuded in professional wrestling before they got married. Dustin Rhodes met Terri Runnels while both were in WCW, and she was a manager named Alexandra York. Dustin refused to join her York Foundation, and he feuded with her wrestlers instead.

8 MARC MERO AND SABLE

Marc Mero got his big break in WCW when he wrestled as the flamboyant Johnny B. Badd, a wrestler based on the characteristics of Little Richard. While working there, he met Rena Greek, known to the wrestling world as Sable.

He debuted in WWE as Marc Mero in 1996 and rescued Sable from Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and WWE paired him and his wife up in a manager/wrestler role. However, over time, the two started a feud when Mero tried to keep Sable from looking sexy, and she resisted. The two then began feuding with each other, Sable the most popular woman in WWE and Mero a despised heel.

7 LANA AND RUSEV

The most recent instance of a married couple feuding in WWE came with Rusev and his wife, Lana. This was one of the times where fans mostly rejected the angle — primarily because social media made it hard for WWE to blur the line between reality and fiction, which hurt their chance at selling the angle.

Lana and Rusev began to argue more onscreen, and then she admitted that she had cheated on him with Bobby Lashley. The two later divorced, and Lana married Lashley — all in a WWE storyline. In reality, Lana and Rusev are still a married couple.

6 TOMMY DREAMER AND BEULAH

Heading over to ECW, Paul Heyman loved to create drama in his storylines. There was the moment where Sandman's son chose to follow Raven as part of his cult. In the case of Tommy Dreamer and his future wife Beulah, it also involved Raven.

In the storyline, Raven brought in a "former girlfriend" of Dreamer's, who was overweight in school but was now drop-dead gorgeous. Beulah McGillicutty then became Raven's valet and often interfered in his matches. Soon, in real life, Beulah and Tommy began dating, and the two married in 2002.

5 DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE AND KIMBERLY

Diamond Dallas Page signed with WCW in 1991, the same year that he married Kimberly. After working in WWE for a few years, WCW went ahead and hired Kimberly as well in 1994. She was known as the Diamond Doll and accompanied him to the ring as a valet.

However, similar to how Macho Man Randy Savage treated Miss Elizabeth poorly when she managed him, DDP also mistreated Kimberly. Johnny B. Badd beat DDP and "freed" her, and she went on to work with him and then later the Booty Man, feuding with her real-life husband. She turned on him a second time in 2000 in the New Blood storyline.

4 MATT HARDY AND LITA

The most infamous time that a real-life couple feuded in WWE came when the two broke up in real life. For years, Team Xtreme included the Hardy Boyz and Lita. Matt Hardy and Lita were a couple, and it made their partnership easy. However, Lita then cheated on Matt in real life with his close friend Edge, and WWE fired Matt after the scandal.

When WWE brought Matt Hardy back to the company, they knew they had something big here and had Edge and Matt Hardy feud based on the real-life cheating scandal. That pitted Hardy against Lita as well, as she was now officially Edge's manager as well.

3 VINCE MCMAHON AND LINDA MCMAHON

Vince McMahon and Linda McMahon

There was one point in WWE where the McMahon family feuded with each other. As a matter of fact, at WrestleMania XV, there was a four-corners match with a McMahon in each corner managing their own wrestler. That was one of many times that Mr. McMahon feuded with his wife, Linda.

There was the time where McMahon sacrificed Stephanie as the Higher Power, and Linda showed up and put Stone Cold in charge. There were also the times that McMahon was "cheating" on Linda with several different female superstars, and his wife returned to make his life hell.

2 RANDY SAVAGE AND ELIZABETH

Macho Man Randy Savage was married to Miss Elizabeth when he signed with WWE. There was a big moment when he first arrived where different managers wanted to manage him, but Savage chose an unknown in Miss Elizabeth. The word is that he wanted her to remain close to him while he was on the road.

At WrestleMania IV, Macho Man won the WWE Championship. He soon turned babyface and ended up teaming with Hulk Hogan. That led to their implosion, and Miss Elizabeth turned on Savage and sided with Hogan. Years later, in WCW, the two were divorced, but she returned and sided with Ric Flair against him.

1 STEPHANIE MCMAHON AND TRIPLE H

The entire relationship with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon was an interesting one to watch play out. Remember, Triple H was dating Chyna while she was working with him in DX. Then, Triple H started dating Stephanie, and eventually, their paths crossed on TV.

McMahon was in a storyline relationship with Test, but Triple H then took her to Vegas and married her at a drive-thru chapel where it looked like she was drugged. It was a trick, and the two joined forces. After that, they were supposed to get married, but he turned on her at their wedding. Now, they are always seen as a happy couple.
