Report: WWE Considering Major Change To Goldberg/Brock Lesnar Finish

The stars have been aligned for months for Brock Lesnar to avenge his previous losses against Goldberg at WrestleMania 33 and walk out Universal Champion. The WWE has apparently taken notice of this obvious narrative, as there are now reports the WWE is planning a major change to Sunday's main event.

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials are beginning to feel Lesnar getting the win over Goldberg may be too predictable for the main event (Gee, really?). It's now being rumored that Goldberg may in fact defeat Brock Lesnar once again in what's being billed as their final match, and likely the final match of Goldberg's current run.

It's also being reported that unlike Survivor Series, the match will go over two minutes, as the company has been saving anything the two are capable of doing for this final encounter. Goldberg's current run was only supposed to be a one-off match at Survivor Series, before WWE swerved us with Goldberg squashing Lesnar, so they may in fact end this feud the same way it started.
