Bray Wyatt was originally set to defend his Universal Championship against The Miz at the Nov. 30 show in Mexico City, but the former Intercontinental Champion will have to wait another day for an opportunity against The Fiend.

As reported by the WWE Español Twitter page, Rey Mysterio will instead challenge Wyatt for his Universal Championship, thus removing The Miz from the Steel Cage showdown.

Rey Mysterio is set to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series. Of course, it's highly unlikely that Mysterio will win the match, and it wouldn't make sense for him to replace The Miz if he's already the WWE Champion.

But those who hoped to see The Miz go up against The Fiend shouldn't be disappointed, because it sounds like the two superstars will be squaring off at some point in the very near future.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio suggested that Wyatt could face Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36. Along the way, The Fiend will supposedly clash with The Miz as well as Daniel Bryan.

Wyatt, of course, is set to square off against Bryan at Survivor Series next Sunday. The buildup for their match began last week, when The Fiend attacked him with a Mandible Claw. The two even clashed in a dark match after 205 Live for the Universal Championship, where Wyatt came out on top.

The Miz and Wyatt were actually supposed to begin their feud after Crown Jewel, but the flight mechanical issue prevented that from happening. That set the stage for the Wyatt-Bryan feud, and a future Hall of Famer in Rey Mysterio will follow.

WWE Is Fully Invested In Wyatt

It's evident that WWE is fully devoted to pushing The Fiend right now. He conquered the company's top face in Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel, and now Wyatt gets to face two all-time greats in Wyatt and Mysterio. At this point, there's no reason to believe Wyatt's push is going to end any time soon, because WWE clearly sees them as a top money making star - and rightfully so.
