The dynamic between Ric Flair and his daughter and Charlotte Flair is a really compelling one. The two of them are incredibly close and that has always helped to create great entertainment in the ring, but they also took that outside of the WWE environment with their book, Second Nature.

The dual-autobiography is a fantastic read that really goes into superb detail about the lives of the Flairs, both in the ring and out of it. While they're two incredibly successful athletes, not everything has been smooth sailing for them and the book really does a great job of providing some interesting stories and revelations about both of them.

10 Ric Flair: Not The Best Father

Ric Flair might appear to be a fantastic father nowadays due to everything he does with Charlotte. However, that wasn't always the case, which is something Ric Flair talks about in detail throughout the book.

He admits that he wasn't a great father to his children when they were growing up, mainly because he was too focused on wrestling and being the best. It showcases how dedicated wrestlers are about their lives, and how their family life can suffer because of that.

9 Charlotte Flair: Forgiving Ric

Ric and Charlotte might have a really close bond now, but that certainly wasn't always the case as this book highlighted. Ric getting remarried was something that caused a rift between them and led to some serious resentment from Charlotte.

However, his retirement weekend at WrestleMania 24 played a massive role in them coming back together. Charlotte admitted that she began to forgive him, and it was certainly interesting to see how important that entire weekend was to the Flair family.

8 Ric Flair: His Plane Crash Thoughts

Being involved in a plane crash is obviously an incredibly scary experience, and it is something Ric Flair is lucky to have survived. Reading about that moment is certainly very interesting, but hearing what his first thought was showed a lot about him.

He was quick to tell one of the EMTs to take out a love letter he wrote to a woman from his bag, worrying that he might die and his wife would read it. It showcased his protective side to his wife, yet also how he used to take his gimmick too seriously with his personal behavior.

7 Charlotte Flair: Domestic Abuse

While Charlotte Flair's current relationship with Andrade has been well documented, in this book she goes into big detail about a previous relationship. Charlotte was actually married earlier in her life, but sadly things didn't end well.

Flair suffered at the hands of physical domestic abuse which is certainly horrible to read about. She was very open about the whole situation though, which included one moment where she was arrested and Ric Flair ended up being hit as well.

6 Ric Flair: Blaming Himself For Reid

Obviously, a huge part of the book was about the sad loss of Ric Flair's son, Reid. It provided a really emotional section of the book and is something that has deeply affected the Flair family.

What was really tough to read was how the Nature Boy did blame himself at points, questioning if he tried too hard to be a friend and not a father, and if he was pushing the lifestyle he lived too heavily.

5 Charlotte Flair: The Impact Of Dusty Rhodes

It is well documented that Dusty Rhodes played a big role in the development of many top talents in NXT and Charlotte Flair is one of those. Throughout the book, she discusses the importance that Dusty played in her development and it really is touching to see how much he meant to her.

The final pages of the entire book are dedicated to the American Dream, with Charlotte writing a letter to him, thanking Dusty for everything he did, which is a very touching thing to do.

4 Ric Flair: Listening To HBK

Ric Flair's final match in WWE was an incredible one, at WrestleMania 24 against one of the all-time greats in Shawn Michaels. However, something that was interesting to learn about that match was that it was HBK who was in control of the entire thing.

Shawn told Ric to not say a single word in the ring and just leave it all to him, which the Nature Boy admitted wasn't easy for him. He was used to being the ring general, and that was taken from him here but it led to an amazing encounter.

3 Charlotte Flair: Locker Room Reputation

Despite the fact Charlotte Flair was incredibly talented when she got the call-up to the main roster, she revealed in the book that her reputation wasn't the best within the locker room.

While Flair didn't go into major details about why that was the case, it was certainly interesting to read. She had proven herself in NXT and wasn't just handed an opportunity, yet still, some of the women weren't happy with her arrival.

2 Ric Flair: Vince's Loan

Vince McMahon is well-known for being someone who is very loyal to those who he cares about and Ric Flair showcased that. The Nature Boy discussed his financial troubles in the book and revealed that the WWE Chairman loaned him a very large amount of money.

It showed the relationship between the two men and how far Vince will go for his talents. Flair also told a hilarious story about wanting to publicly thank him during his Hall Of Fame speech, which Vince was totally against.

1 Charlotte Flair: Importance Of Becky Lynch

Charlotte Flair spoke a lot about Becky Lynch in this book and how much she meant to her. It was clear that they are best friends, with Charlotte admitting she was the first person she would bounce any ideas from.

It was interesting to read that Becky was there for her throughout all of her times at the top of the card, and Flair made a special note about how she can't wait to repay her for that. It's fun in hindsight to think that Flair then got that opportunity when Becky became The Man.
