WWE Hall of Famer Ric 'The Nature Boy' Flair rose to fame in the '80s as leader of the iconic Four Horsemen alliance. With Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson and Tully Blanchard, these four stars changed the landscape of professional wretling - which saw them win four NWA/WCW World Tag Team Championships.

The stable performed together in five different promotions, namely the WWF/E, WCW and NWA. From 1985 to 1999, the group would disband but get back together countless times. It was just not easy for creative teams to keep these guys apart for long. The Four Horsemen were that big to professional wrestling.

Recently, Nature Boy appeared on the 98 Rock Baltimore's Justin, Scott and Spiegel show and was asked which modern day superstars would round up his Four Horsemen alliance (h/t to WrestlingInc.com). Here are his picks:

"The first guy I would take is Dolph Ziggler. The second guy would be Seth Rollins. Third guy would be, let me think, Horsemen... that requires a lot. You gotta be good at what you do be able to enjoy life. Let me think:

Seth...I haven't had too much fun with him, but I'm sure he'd be great - Roman Reigns. Yeah, Roman's a trooper. Gotta be careful with what I say, because (laughs) God forbid anybody have any fun anymore. And, let me think...he would run from me but Randy Orton for sure."

Flair added that he believes Orton is the top wrestler today, and that he would have included Batista if he was active in the WWE. That's two members from his old Evolution stable, but Flair didn't include Triple H in his pick for the modern day Four Horsemen faction.

Though fans haven't seen a new Four Horsemen alliance, the "Four Horsewomen" faction was formed by Charlotte (Flair's daughter), Becky Lynch, Bayley and Sasha Banks. At least, that's what they briefly referred to themselves as in NXT. Perhaps the faction will come into life in the future.

As for Flair's picks on the Four Horsemen, it's hard to dispute with either. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have led The Shield alliance for much of the 2010s, and it's by far the greatest stable of the past 10-15 years. Orton is no stranger to being involved in popular factions, ranging from Evolution to The Legacy to The Authority. And hey, nobody is going to forget Ziggler's run with Spirit Squad.
